None of these guys have had to carry the load in a crunch time situation like this before. No Trey or Timmy to take these big shots. Someone needs to emerge. I think it may end up being Stauskus and Walton later in the season.

And if we step back, its nice to be in this position. Just 3 or 4 years ago we were rushing the court for beating #4 Duke, now people rush the court for beating us. We're a team to get excited about beating now which is pretty cool. Hail to Beilein as usual

Young team in a hostile environment for the first time this season, not worried about this team long-term. I think they will still be a clear cut top ten caliber team by the end of the season.
NCAA tournament is about where you are at the end of the year.

He definitely does not play soft. He was a beast on the glass, especially on the o-boards. And he fouled out. Not saying its 100% true, but generally fouling out != soft.

In a "real" game Irvin wouldn't have seen the floor and Walton would not have seen as much time, especially in the first half. I'd love to see them in the tourney. Just love it.

They are good and I'll be pulling for them to get all the wins, but I can't imagine the Cyclones beating a team as talented as us on the road or on a neutral court.
