4.) Who lead Michigan football in receiving yards the year after Desmond Howard won the Heisman?

5.) What current Chicago Cubs pitcher played QB at Michigan?

6.) Who led the 2012-2013 MBB team (the Final Four team) in made three pointers?

7.) Who was the only center on the 2012-2013 MBB team to hit a three pointer that year?

9.) Michigan won on the final play of the 1990 OSU football game thanks to a FG by what kicker?

10.) Which of the following was Glen Rice's career 3pt FG% at Michigan?

a.) 36%

b.) 42%

c.) 48%

d.) 56%

******************WARNING: ANSWERS AHEAD*****************************

I couldn't tell how difficult these questions where before I posted them.  The board did very well.  These are the answers:

1.) Carol Hutchins played softball at MSU.

2.) Brandon Minor had 1,035 rushing yards in '08 and '09 combined, making him Michigan's leading rusher from the running back position under RR.

3.) Eso Akunne went to Father Gabriel Richard H.S. in AA.

4.) Derrick Alexander had 740 receiving yards in 1992.

5.) Clayton Richard was a back up for Chad Henne in 2004.

6.) Stauskas (80) hit more threes than Burke (76) and THJ (73).

7.) Blake McLimans hit two three pointers.  This is the only answer the board didn't get.

8.) John Giordano was Michigan's hockey coach right before Red.

9.) J.D. Carlson kicked the game-winning FG to beat OSU in 1990.

10.) Glen Rice hit 48% of his threes at Michigan.

That would be John Giordano, who I believe oversaw Michigan's transition to the CCHA from the WCHA. Pretty sure that eons ago he was the hockey coach at Harper Woods Notre Dame only because we had a recent retiree who played for him there in the early 1970s and said he was a pretty substantial jerk, to put it politely.

(but not to his face) - why hummingbird,  you ask?  because he thought he was the next herb brooks, ala miracle on ice,  but was in fact a lightweight, aka, a rear end like a hummingbird, but jaws like an alligator.

inherited more talent than i had ever heard of in 1980 (myself excepted), and he single-handedly trashed the program.  couldn't coach, couldn't recruit, players hated him.  not a good combo.

Well poop. I only got numbers 1, 2, 4, 6 and 10 right. Should have had 3 and 9 but don't follow baseball much and am too young for a couple others.
