Michigan Took Away Notre Dame's Groove?
Notre Dame in trouble against Virginia Tech. If they lose it will be their third loss--that might drop out of the Top 20.
November 2nd, 2019 at 5:51 PM ^
They never had much groove. Still a great win.

Urban meyer might find himself in a bidding war with USC

That’s a lot of money those two schools have to throw around
November 2nd, 2019 at 5:56 PM ^
Brian Kelly looks like a guy who has checked out.
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:26 PM ^
He’s surprisingly not very purple.
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:37 PM ^
He wasn’t purple against us, either. Just a blank stare and limp shoulders.
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
It’s true. He was 100% not purple. He must have CTE or be on meds.

Even when we aren’t playing them, just seeing ND just makes me want to punch something.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
Just makes me feel gross. Like I need to take a shower.
Same kind of gross feeling from watching PSU, but without the desire to take a shower.
November 2nd, 2019 at 8:20 PM ^
More of a bleach response
November 2nd, 2019 at 8:26 PM ^
I have a desire to do just about anything other than take a shower after watching PSU.
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:09 PM ^
The words shower and PSU shouldn’t be used in the same sentence. Now I feel dirty.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:48 PM ^
WH (I won't use your name here), you'll want to punch me, but I was actually glad to see ND pull today's game out...that's right, glad!! A loss by them, at home, to an unranked team on the heels of our undressing them would, IMDO, have taken lots of luster off of the big win last week. Scenarios like that are the only reasons I ever root for the Frightening Irish.
(They scare themselves).
("In My Debatable Opinion").
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:50 PM ^
Glad you say? Preposterous!
November 2nd, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
I mean Michigan absolutely crushed and embarrassed them. When you have no conference title or big rivalry games to play for the rest of the season it’s tough to find motivation.
November 2nd, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
It’s possible they weren’t very good...not that I like saying that
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
It was already a pretty popular opinion that ND was a paper tiger before Michigan beat them. I think ND is just further proving that they aren't all that great at this point.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:26 PM ^
Don’t look now, but in the B1G West, “#13 Minnesota” is 8-0. The best team they have played is 4-5 Nebraska.
Not sure where I am going with this, but couldn’t hold it in any longer.
November 2nd, 2019 at 8:11 PM ^
They put up 52 on Maryland and ran for 350 last week....
November 2nd, 2019 at 9:47 PM ^
Wow, that's a telling stat. Can I just infer that Minnesota scheduled non-con cupcakes & the B1G West sucks a big one?
November 2nd, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Scott Frost was supposed to ‘come home’ as the savior of Nebraska football. Bet he won’t have three 10 win seasons in four seasons.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
That reminds me - I miss Mike Tirico calling Michigan games.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:06 PM ^
I don't understand why some teams can just dominate - no matter the opponent or venue.... others seem to chameleon into something else - week to week.
Hopefully - Michigan stays 'angry'. Forever.
Go Blue.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
I love anger
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
Virginia Tech rushing 3 allowing ND to go down the field
Predictable.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:14 PM ^
I don't get teams doing that.
Blitz a LB and get the QB on the run, instead of him standing like a statue looking for someone breaking open.
November 2nd, 2019 at 8:51 PM ^
Of which Michigan was guilty 25 years ago, and it cost them dearly. Who was the DC that year? Something about automobiles keeps going through my mind.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
Nah - Nd gonna win
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
Ugh...thanks for the jinx post.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:11 PM ^
No, ND wasn't all that to begin with. They play a schedule on par with Clemson's.
November 2nd, 2019 at 10:53 PM ^
That’s a dig at Michigan
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:12 PM ^
Like John Madden says, "The Pre-vent defense pre-vents you from winning".
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:15 PM ^
Eh. ND turned the ball over twice in the RZ and missed a FG. They’ve outgained VT by 200+ yards at last check. Just one of those games.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
The MGoBoard Premature Commentary Jinx . . . it is real.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
That's a charitable way to look at it.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:33 PM ^
every time
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:24 PM ^
I hope ND wins the rest of their games. Makes the win look better.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
Why does it matter. We aren’t going to playoffs. Fuck them domers
November 3rd, 2019 at 7:34 AM ^
Notre Dame wins!!
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:34 PM ^
I'd be very happy to see ND lose to Navy.
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:39 PM ^
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
November 2nd, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
ND pulls out a victory, and looks relatively unimpressive doing so... but based on their schedule, they should win out - which would make the UM pummeling of them, more impressive
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
Notre Dame has no linebackers.
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:21 PM ^
Good win for us; however ND stinks it appears.
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:38 PM ^
Late contender for the dumbest post of the year
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:45 PM ^
It's got my vote, for sure
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:45 PM ^
Virginia tech gave them the game. Only rushing 3 and giving Book all day to throw on that final drive. What idiots. Prevent defense only prevents you from winning.
November 2nd, 2019 at 7:48 PM ^
Refs saved ND. No surprise.
