will be a Nessler-Blackledge call if both teams win next week.  It either team loses this week(sorry Rutgers, but if Michigan loses this week) than I think we get Mike Patrick.  I would not mind a break from McDonaugh - he has been doing a lot of Michigan games.

(I don't think that Millen is a bad color guy though, a quite good one actually)

I don't have that kind of money.

Millen is not a bad color commentary.  It is entirely possible to be good at that and a terrible NFL GM.  I think Millen is fine and I think the BTN is a good landing spot for him.  It may be because I could not give a shit less about the Lions so he does not have that stigma for me.

so bad that I turned into the radio broadcast.  It took a few tries to sync the radio to the video due to the TV delay; however once completed, it was very nice.

I had to stop reading the thread to avoid knowing the next play.  Overall, a good choice by me.

Good news. Could have seen that coming a mile away. But still, good news. Wouldn't want a night game against MSU, wouldn't want the Admin to go against what they've already said. And this allows the heavy drinkers and party animals to have several more hours to get hammered that Saturday. Without getting hammered for a 10 hour period.

night game against State is just a matter of time.  Won't happen against OSU because of the weather, but there will be a MSU UTL.  My guess is that it will be the 2017 contest.  I don't see Michigan State fans/students as being any more human-like at 3:30 than 8:00 so it really would not make that much of a difference.

The weather has nothing to do with scheduling night games. If the two football programs want it to happen, it will be scheduled that way.

the two teams don't want it that way because it takes place in almost-December and night time temps are usually in the teens.  Michigan v. OSU at night would be a stupid idea and will never happen.

Because he brings up a legit point?

They have been playing football night games for 123 years:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1892_Wyoming_Seminary_vs._Mansfield_State_Normal_football_game

They have seen it all.  In fact, they had seen it all before any of us were even born.

If they don't want a night game, then the AD should just say "We just don't want a night game.  We don't need an excuse, we just don't feel like it.  Too bad if you don't like it.  We brought you Harbaugh, so shut up."

They don't need to hide behind lame excuses like the town or the police dept can't handle it.  They do it just fine in places that are hardly role models of decorum and mental stability like Baton Rouge.

And they have been doing it longer than any of us have been alive.

Lighten up, buddy. Not worried about alcohol at all. Seriously, drunk people are not my concern, and they can do what they want, and drink as much as they want. In fact, I thought that wanting more drinking and partying time was the main reason many people want a later start time. I'm good with that . . . party on!

There's something like triple as many alcohol related incidents for MSU than any other weekend. I would link to the article I read that in, but I'm having finding it because googling "Michigan State" "alcohol" "arrests" etc comes up with a exactly the type of hits you'd expect.

I got married on a Saturday in November last year. The wife always wanted a fall wedding. I told her i had 2 conditions, 1. Our vests and everything had to be navy blue and 2. It had to be a Saturday when Michigan was on a bye. Won both of those arguments and had a great time.

I got married (the first time) on a Michigan/Notre Dame game day. Had the ceremony late morning, and had the reception starting at 3:00. Since we were in Tahoe City, the timing was perfect for a viewing party between events. Though, since my first wife was a Nevada grad, that accommodation for Michigan football may have been the first chink in the armor.

Married a U of M alum the second time, and we got married on a Friday night just to avoid any complications. See, one can learn as one gets older.
