This kid is a 6'3"ish PG out of Virginia and has recently been picking up a lot of big time offers. LSU, Marquette, Villanova, Georgetown, and Virginia Tech have all offered recently.

He's pretty athletic, has NBA range on his shot, and seems pretty crafty. His handle definitely needs improvement and honestly I'm not sure he projects as a PG. Not really sure where he'll end up in rankings, but I'd guess he's somewhere around low 4 star imo

Thanks for the video nj, this kid can really shoot, legit 25-30 foot range, great vision, shoots so well that it allows him to easily blow by people to the basket, high effort guy on defense,  great passer and high bball IQ.

Would love to have this kid, like Nik, he's not just a shooter.

Much more informative than my post - thanks.  Curious what guards the staff is pushing right now.

Just watched some film. Hard to really evaluate given the competition level (or lack thereof as it relates to his HS film).

Preliminary thoughts are this kid is a legit shooter, particularly when his feet are set, with a quick release and range out to 30 feet.

Very good vision.

Has some physical limitations and doesn't move all that well. Physically developed frame. Hopefully he's a legit 6'3-6'4, that would circumvent some of his athletic limitations at the college level.

Caveats apply because I've haven't viewed Brizzi live and I've only watched about 6 minutes worth of film, but I can envision some issues against ball-pressure when defended by quicker guards.

Though I don't know how often that issue would hypothetically present itself, given the B10 isn't necessarily a conference with great athletes overall.

That in tandem with ballscreens may mitigate the issue to a large extent.

He's unique player with point-guard like vision and playmaking, but not the movement/overall athleticism that you'd like to see from a kid projected to play a good deal on the ball.

That's why I think size matters here. If he's a legit 6'3-64, he can bully smaller guards. If he's only a legit 6'1, that's a different story. His movements/shooting remind a lot of Jalen Brunson form Villanova.

They have a ton of similarities as physically developed PGs that don't move that well/aren't that athletic.

Jalen Brunson is a huge compliment.  Heck, even if he's more Stu Douglas I'm still interested as a long-term rotation player in the combo-guard role.  Like someone else said, with 7-8 open spots next year we're going to need a nice mix of immediate-impact and long-term contributor players.

There are going to be some 3 stars in this class guys. Were going to have space for 7 or 8 scholarships next season and were not going to sign only top 50 players.

Brian Snow basically said this kid would have blown up if they had a chance to evaluate the end of his high school and spring AAU seasons. He’ll be a 4 star top 100 soon enough.

I’m not nearly the authority on basketball that some others around here are, but they kid looks like a legit scorer for sure. His handles are a bit odd, the ball seems to get high or he loses his handle at times, then at other times you see him dribbling in tight spaces and making baskets out of nothing. I think he would be a great get for this program and could see him and Zeb on the floor together in an interesting dual-combo lineup where either is really able to run the point and allow the other to dart jumpers, forcing the defense to be able to switch onto two point guards and shooting guards, not knowing which would initiate the offense. Always good to have a lefty too!

If Jay Wright is offering im then thats enough for me to believe the kid is seriously underrated
