Is $42.27 an acceptable donation?

I literally JUST finished rewatching the game (and of course grab my phone and go straight to MGoBlog).
How did I not think of this?!
$42.27 is perfect.

I just made a donation. Alas, I didn't see a way to fool with the digits to the right of the decimal. You'd have to go with $42.00.

I guess you're in for $4,227 then, right?

$42 in the name of Michigan and $27 anonymously.

$31 for Jordan's number is also a good option

Done! Having just gone through a house fire living here in NJ, this hits close to home. Even if there is insurance, their job is to pay as little as they can. We are still down a significant amount between what insurance has paid and what it is costing to rebuild. (Thankfully, we are moving back to our house very soon after almost a year.)

Just donated. Hope they can rebuild successfully.

Cannon aimed and firing. Let's keep it going!

Let's keep it going! I think it was around $6-7k when first posted last night, now at $12k. Target is $35k, which may seem a lot with insurance, but it really isn't.

The only person I know whose business burned down is still fighting them after 5 years. Won the case but are now fighting the appeals. The insurance company keeps trying to settle for pennies on the dollar. If there is anything worse than some insurance companies, it's their lawyers, and when you mix the two, you're in for a hell of a time.
Not that it needs to be said, but not all insurance companies are evil, and not all lawyers are bad.

I don't directly represent insurance companies, but in my practice a lot of my clients will have insurance coverage for their employment claims. They screw over everyone - attorneys and their insureds. If a new client approaches me and they tell me they have coverage with a certain carrier, I tell them the only way I'll handle the case is if they don't tender the claim.

Made a small donation. Hope the insurance company doesn't jerk them around too much. My uncle is a public adjuster and these companies just suck.
