Michigan favored by 5 in Lincoln.  Looks about right.

Nebraska should’ve beaten MSU and had every opportunity to beat Oklahoma. Both of those games were on the road. Nebraska has some players on offense and they can move the ball. Their defense is far less than what we saw against Wisconsin but it’s offense is far better.

Michigan is going to have its hands full on Saturday night, especially if Nebraska finds a way to not shoot itself in the foot over and over and give the game away like it’s been known to do.

Ummm - for 4 years I have heard this argument about Nebraska.  Let me tell you - they are losers and a bad team.  3-3 w losses against a poor Illinois squad, Sparty, and an overrated Okla team that allows everyone to play close.  Only wins v "powerhouses" Fordham and Buffalo, and a terrible Northwestern team.  Nebraska and Scott Frost suck donkey balls.

Don't get me wrong - any win in Lincoln a good thing.  But this Michigan team will be ready, and is going to pound the living shit out of the pathetic Cornhuskers!

I’m just saying that I don’t expect them to just roll over and be a doormat for Michigan like they were in 2018. That’s going to be a desperate team and a desperate coach trying to save his job so he’ll be pulling out all the stops that night to prove to his new AD that he deserves to be kept around.

Doesn’t mean they’re not a bad team. Recent evidence suggests that they are. But bad teams have beaten good teams before plenty of times. Especially when said bad team is playing at home with little or nothing to lose.

Michigan should win, and handily at that. But as they say, that’s why they play the game.

Sounds right.  Nebraska is better than their record and are due for an upset, so a night game at home should be tough.  But I also don't think their defense is quite there yet and the offense can be squirrelly.  Will have to be up again for this game.

5-0 is so much fun. I will revel in it for a while. It is nice as a fan to not have to prepare or worry about the next game. Saturday will be another opportunity to watch this outstanding team.

Thinking about it last night, my first guess was gonna be UM -4.

On gameday, UM lines typically move a bit towards UM than the other team, because Vegas typically has more UM fans in Vegas than the team UM is playing.

Dont be surprised if the line is UM -6 on gameday.  However, that UM -5 feels just about right to me.  On gameday, I think it will more likely be UM -5, than UM -6.

If Neb hadn't humiliated NW last night, the opening would have been UM -7.

This UM team is legit. This Nebraska team is improving and will put all their emotional chips into this game.

This gameplan will rely on discipline. Michigan is coming off a huge game / win.

This is going to be a psychological test for this coaching staff. I believe in this UM team but this game will further show the mettle of this team.

you win here and you get a bye to regroup before you smash northwestern. None of us are suiting up Saturday so we can think what we want but don’t underestimate this game.

It starts with the definition of “legit”. I’m not using “likely to go 12-0 and win a NC”. Not saying you are…but that is many folks definition.

I believe this team is legit because they have the talent, ability, and it seems the mentality to challenge and seriously contend for a big ten title.

I also believe that because every team outside of AL and GA have MAJOR issues. Not small. Don’t get me wrong UM has issues too but between the improvements and landscape of college football this team has a legitimate shot to contend.

This is where the NFL experience on the defensive staff will help out. Most every game in the NFL is important, and teams have to get psychologically "up" each week. Our NFL-experienced coaches should be able to get them there.

That said, we will probably have trouble containing Martinez fully, and the NEB offense will get theirs. We will have to score. Fortunately, we have shown we're more willing to do that this year. Come in with a similar mentality to the Wisconsin game and we'll be fine.

This game could be close as Nebraska is improving. Michigan will remain focused, no problem there. A lot of points could be scored but Michigan's defense travels and if they can hold Nebraska to under 20 points, they win by a bigger margin. I'll go with a Michigan win by more than 5.

Nebraska’s 56 - 7 win last night and close loss to MSU in OT is good for Michigan. It will reduce any letdown/complacency after the big Wisconsin win. Nebraska’s offense is dangerous enough to cause problems and keep the game close. And their defense is improving.: 7 points to NW, 23 to Sparty in OT, and holding Oklahoma down shows that they can play.

Another opportunity for Scott Frost to save his job.  Hopefully, the boys put together a performance like yesterday and beat the tar out of them and Scott can start working on his resume'

This will be a mental toughness test more than anything. If we go up a couple scores early, Frost and Martinez will both crumble, but let Nebraska hang around at your peril. If the game is close in the 4th quarter, the Children of the Corn factor increases exponentially.

I hope we pull this out and am thinking along the lines of 35-21. But I would not be shocked by any result. The one ace up our sleeve is special teams. Ours are good. Theirs are not.
