Michigan travels up the road for a weekend series against Sparty.
Tonight’s game is at Jackson Field, home of the Lansing Lugnuts, which is pretty cool. This game is on ESPNU and starts at 5:00 pm EST.

I’m jealous that in 3 trips to MSU I never got to play in the Lugnuts park. MSU’s field was by far the worst in the conference back then. One series the visitor dugout flooded so they had to set up benches along the first base line and we had to sit there. We were absolute sitting ducks for foul balls but nobody got (seriously) hurt.
that plus the stupid tree that hung about 10-20 feet over the right field fence (which was already about the shortest in the league). So a few times a weekend the coaches would argue with the umps about whether some pop up was an out, a ground rule double, live, or a HR. Such a waste of time.
Im not still mad or anything. Pretty much over it. It’s cool.

I never have a reason to need ESPNU until I cancel the package. Then all of a sudden everything is on the damn channel.

Our Lady Wolverines are at Maryland for the weekend. 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth with two out, runners on second and third.

...then advanced on the following play to 2nd on a fielder's choice. Bertram next proceeds to steal 3rd (rub it in!) and score on a spartie overthrow.

It's quite likely Bertram decided on his own to steal because that spartie pitcher beaned him right after serving up a Michigan home run to the previous batter.
I honestly would have done the same thing. It's an attitude of "Throw at me? Then screw your 'unwritten rules'---I'm running on your ass!".
