Mich recruit Jaden Davis with 5 TD passes tonight
A good friend of mine is at the HS game tonight where Davis' team is playing another top HS team at the Carolina Panthers stadium and has been texting info to me. Davis looks great. The most recent of his 5 TD passes was to fellow Michigan recruit Channing Goodwin. He says that Davis hangs in the pocket well despite some questionable pass protection and has shown a ton of poise.

Yes, sorry about that, I realized that too late. His composure as you say, was what was really impressed my friend, who has watched a lot of football over the years.

It is also “commit” rather than “recruit” if we’re being technical (though in this era, commits still need to be recruited).
I don’t think it’s an EJ hate-fest; it’s perfectly OK to show that his takes on Davis have a subtle negative skew.

Oddly, I’d never watched video of Davis before this AM. That is a looooong and inefficient windup; he’s going to need a year or two in the lab before he’s ready to play. He’s like one of those pitchers that MLB teams draft and stick in the instructional league for a year for a full rebuild.
Weird that with modern youth QB coaching youd see such an obviously talented guy with such a bad hitch. I wonder if he has some shoulder issues?
