*****THIS IS AN IMPORTANT POST TO READ BECAUSE IT'S 'THE' TRUTH*****

#1) Michigan is NOT Jim Harbaugh's 'dream job.'  He wants an NFL job, because him and his brother are so competitive.  SD, SF, Oak and Car (and maybe even Dal and Min) are all going to be fighting over him this off-season.

#2) Dave Brandon is going to be doing absolutely everything he can to convince him to come to Michigan over the next month.

#3) In all likelihood, Rich Rod will be brought back (signing a two year extension after the bowl game), and Greg Robinson will be replaced (along with the 3-3-5).  Ron English is supposedly an early DC candidate.

Do you seriously sit and read every last thread on this site??????  You realize you don't HAVE to read a thread if it's there, don't you?  If this inability to restrain your hand from clicking the mouse on every single thread on MGoBlog persists, you may want to consult a therapist about your OCD behavior.

I have stayed away from posting for a while, but must at least throw in my 2 cents.  What I can't get over is how many people there are supporting RR so emphatically as if he has earned another year.  I agree with Brandon that he should wait until after the season is over, however, he is not doing his job if he hasn't already put out feelers to see if Harbaugh is interested.

I don't really care how good the offense looks if we not only don't win the big games but also don't look like we can even compete.  Our top offense put up 7 points on OSU.  For as much progress as the offense has supposedly made, we will never be competitive with OSU with only 7 points (doesn't matter how awful our D-fense is)

The decision is simple:  If Harbaugh wants the job it is his to take.  If he doesn't, then RR will get another year.  Since DB can speak directly to Harbaugh, as Brian points out, I suspect that the charade regarding evaluating the coach after the bowl game is just that, a charade.  What he really means is he won't announce a decision until after the bowl games.

When did MGoBlog get a pool? It must be this stupid work Anti-Virus software blocking me from visiting. How do I file a discrimination lawsuit against corporate America and their security company for not allowing me access to same benefits as everyone else.

One thing that has impressed me very much is how our AD is sticking to his original plan and not deterring just because of media/fan pressure.  He is being very methodical and seems as if he is the right man for this job.  As we have seen, everyone has their opinion on what should happen with our coaching situation, and while he seems to listen to the voiced opinions of others, he seems to be looking at the overall big picture, which is how this decision needs to be made.  So big props to Brandon and U of M for deciding to hire him.
