Jake Butt
Drake Johnson
Drake is really confident. He has that gleem...
Kyle Kalis

When I was getting Kalis's signature the other day, I said to him, "THIS, is the year for the offensive line."
He said, "Just wait, we are going to be awesome this year."
And he was very serious, and very determined. He sounded like a true leader.
And I believe him.
On an unrelated note, the reporter interviewing Drake was possibly the worst I've ever heard.

I agree that the questions Drake faced were pretty poor, but I thought he handled the interview really well. I was more impressed by him than anyone else in this interview series.
Wilton Speight
do NOT "boo the coaches"
the players don't have the luxury of knowing the difference

Shane Morris
Maybe it's just me but I can totally picture Shane sitting around after a game smoking a fat joint.

Really? Based on Shane's past performance and the comments from Fisch about the spring competition, I would be shocked if he started.

Shane had terrible HS stats. Yes he is 6.3 and can throw a ball through a brick wall, but that does not make a good QB.
I hope that he can improve and become a good backup and maybe spot starter if injury to whoever is #1
1. He looks tired
2. He seemed uncomfortable answering these questions.
I'm not confident that he'll be the quarterback this fall.

I think the difference here - and not just for Speight but for quite a few players on the roster - is that last year these depth questions were pretty unsettling for various reasons, but now with everyone being evaluated by vastly different metrics, the same questions seem refreshing now. I am just enjoying having a well to go to at QB potentially.

And to hear "Shane and Alex were neck and neck" in the spring from Fisch doesn't help things.
I've said that I personally (no insight, no anything) believe Morris and Speight transfer after this season.
I think this year we look like this:
1. Rudock
2. Morris
3. Malzone
4. Speight
Next year we look like this:
1. O'Korn
2. Malzone
3. Gentry
Then you have Peters added to the mix the year after.
