Man, that wikipedia page looks like it is carefully curated. Someone is showing Gutz some love!
Compare to the entry of a far more talented and accomplished former Wolverine:

Matt got his UM degree and has apparently been pretty successful in sales in the San Fran area post NFL / Arena football.

Good to see the UM degree being put to good use.

I remember that we all assumed Gutierrez would be the starting QB in 2004. Then Chad Henne walked out there, we all looked at eachother with bewilderment, and Chad Henne became Chad Henne and we never mentioned Gutierrez again.

Fwiw, saw Dylan play at U.C. Davis last season. Although he had a couple good receivers including another transfer from Michigan whose name escapes me. He had no time whatsoever to throw. He took a lot of hits and all he could do was throw quick slants because of the pass rush and lack of protection. Really felt bad for him. Don't really know how his numbers were this year, but he took a beating that game.

Helpful info.
Don't think Ed did his younger sons any favors. Both Dylan and Luke looked set to be long-term, effective P-5 starters at the least.

What I remember about Dylan McCaffrey was that he seemed to have a lot of enthusiasm. The way he would run onto the field looked like he was very excited to play. The helmet to helmet hit he took against Wisconsin was brutal.

The coach seemed like an awful guy who also didn't really gameplan or recruit well, so yeah not a shocker.
I doubt we'll ever really know what happened with Dylan but that remains a great mystery of the Harbaugh era.

Just goes to show you how random/difficult recruiting can be.
If I thought anyone was the sure thing, it was Dylan McCaffrey.

I thought his early playing time at Michigan was extremely promising. I also thought he was going to be in the All-American conversation eventually. So crazy how things can work out.

It really looked like the McCaffrey's were poised to be the next big football family. Christian, a 4-Star recruit, All-American, top 8 NFL pick, on his way to being an NFL All-Pro, two more 4-Star recruits in both Dylan and Luke.

Rumor has it Max McCaffery will be promoted to head coach for UNC and he'll be bringing his girlfriend in as an assistant head coach....

If they did hire him they would be truly going with Max McCafferys.
