That was refreshing.

Too many mistakes there down the stretch, and that will kill us against the tougher opposition we will find in the Big Ten. Still, we played tough D & withstood a second half run in a hostile environment. All signs point to big things in this team's future.

the turnovers down the stretch were a little maddening, not to mention the missed FT's. I worry about this team against a good frontcourt. We will have to play better against the Purdue's and Wisconsin's of the big ten. Our frontcourt is thin after Morgan and Smotz.

Important road win will give them confidence. While I expect some mistakes, this team shows promise, and I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

Glad to see our freshmen play well. I real like Hardaway and Evan had a great shooting game tonite. I think we can be a dangerious team if we hit the 3 ball. Go BLUE!
Evan's shooting #s
6-7 from the floor.
2-2 from 3 line
4-5 from free throw line

Sorry if it has been discussed elsewhere but....Is Kelvin Grady going to play bball this year? He is a good ball handler and would add some depth.

Nope he's football only.

Has Beilein ever had a dominant post player? I feel like a true scoring threat big man would be ideal for his system, with all of his shooters providing spacing and opening up the center. Do we have any recruits coming in who can potentially fill that role?

Well, he had DeShawn last year.

Current commits are two guards for 2011--Trey Burke and Carlton Brundidge--plus Glenn Robinson III (6-foot-6 wing) for 2012. I guess you could hope for a big growth spurt from Robinson!

I think Horford has a chance to be pretty good in a couple years with some development and weight room training and Morgan is still just a freshman so he should continue to develop an adequate back to the basket game.

I think this team is still a year or two away from big things but they are already better than last years team chemistry wise. Morris and Morgan impress me the most right now. Both are very smooth and play under control.
Depth behind Morgan is a problem I think right now.
