do you realize how SICK the talent was on that team???
How many pros were on that team? Was it like 7, with a bunch of them having significant NBA careers?

but it would be the typical Steve Fisher coaching mismatch, which could keep it interesting.
Switch the teams in that championship game, and I'm pretty sure our guys wearing Carolina uniforms win.
Still, as others have said 92-93 vs. 12-13, too much size, too much athleticism.

If you can get 2012 Burke and 2013 Stauskas both together, then I could see it going the other way, but I'm taking the 92-93 team, 81-75.

92-93. Webber, Rose and Howard were each far better than anyone on the 12-13 team. All three went on to long and distinguished NBA careers. King and Riley also made it to the NBA, with Riley playing 5 seasons and King playing 2 seasons. Jackson never made it to the NBA but he was a great college player, essentially a Robinson III type player.
Burke, Stauskas and Hardaway were the best players on the 12-13 team. It's still early in their respective NBA careers, but their trajectories don't appear to be those of future NBA all stars. McGary and Robinson III have been in and out of the D League.
I suppose you can say the 12-13 team was deeper. Voskuil, Pelinka and Talley were decent role players on the 92-93 team but they weren't as critical to that team's success. On the other hand, Morgan, Horford, Levert (possible NBA player), and Albrecht each played significant roles for the 12-13 team.
Still, that depth wouldn't be enough to overcome Webber, Rose and Howard.

Like most here, I'd have to say the Fab Five. That team was just loaded, and so athletic.
McGary is a good athlete, but Webber was just a freak. Sure, future NBA success doesn't directly correlate with college success, but both Webber and Howard are top 100 all-time in scoring in the NBA. Most likely, Webber, Rose and Howard had higher ceilings and more talent than any of the guys from 12-13.
It would be a really interesting match-up though - Beilein's offensive system and 3-pointers vs. the streetball athleticism of the Fab Five. Fabs would have absolutely owned the boards.

92-93 team by 10 points. James Voskuil hits a couple big 3's down the stretch and Trey Burke picks up 2 early fouls and is auto benched by Beilein. Spike goes crazy while replacing him and scores 20 points in the first half to keep it close. Trey ends up fouling out after a clean block on Jalen late in the second half. Webber wins the elusive championship after all and Spike gets a marriage proposal after the game from Kate Upton.

1) 1989
2) 1993
3) 2013
That 1989 team could light it up against anyone and Rice and Sean Higgins were tall enough that they were going to get their shots off even if someone fought through the screens that were so well set. Loy Vaught was really underrated too and they were playing so well as a team at the end.
That regional final win over Virginia was crazy and the semifinal win over a loaded Illinois team was one of the best games I have ever seen.

McGary was only good for 6 games while that team stunned its way to the finals. The Fab Five were dominant and expected to be there. The '92-3 team wins 81-70. The '88-9 Rice-led CHAMPIONS would beat the Fab Five, though. Closer, like 88-85. Fun scenarios.

The 12-13 team was the 5th best team in the Big Ten. 92-93 and it's not close.
