Keep in mind these are just one person's rankings and not official ones.

Just get to the dance and win.
It's not like football where you needed to be ranked higher to get to the BCS in some cases.

Mr. Yost
Tournament seeding is critical. Sadly polls play a part in the seeding. Getting to the dance is nice but dancing in the dance is sweet.

I've never seen any indication that the polls play even the slightest role in the seedings.

#4 Iowa
#5 Moo
#9 Wisc
#11 Ohio
#14 Victors
#15 Minny
Much better ranking than one guy's personal opinion at CBS.

Minnesota has lots of weaknesses, not sure they'll be top 25 by the end of the season, but Iowa does seem scary as hell. Wednesday will be a heck of a game.

We split the next two and I would expect a move to around 17/18. Agree that this is an important issue; would be great to be able to get to the 4/5 line for the tourney.

UM is #13-#13 in the two rating methods that best predict future results.*
Wisc is #10-#11.
So the gap between UM and Wisc is very small according to these rating methods. These methods also are likely to predict future results much better than human polls would.
