THIS GU-
[looks at bracket] ...
No, no I didn't pick that.

Gus Johnson finally starts calling games today. All is right with the world.
March 19th, 2010 at 12:30 PM ^
The Murray State buzzer beater would have been even better with Gus calling the action. Hopefully Gus gets some close games today.

How far will my bracket fall today? I'd guess pretty far.
My NCAA 2010 Bracket=EPIC FAIL!

if i'm going to lose another title winning team today...fucking hoyas.

We can only hope that Friday afternoon is a great as yesterday
And, well, the site administrator, web guru for the JCB picked OU and even posted it in his first ever post and pick on the blog. That would be WLA member and occasional MGo Commentator Maize4Blue.

is cbs detroit using valenti and foster as their NCAA tourny hosts??? i don't mind hearing them on the radio, but valenti definitely has a face for radio...
March 19th, 2010 at 12:09 PM ^
I lost Georgetown and Richmond who I had beating Nova.....seemed realistic after that awful showing against Bob Morris.
I'm in 205th as of now....but the commish gets a free t-shirt right?
March 19th, 2010 at 12:23 PM ^
for huggins to call his first TO, because he is going to lose his mind...
March 19th, 2010 at 12:25 PM ^
...that West Virginia is struggling without Beilein, or bad that all of Beilein's players that were carrying Huggins are stinking right now?
March 19th, 2010 at 12:33 PM ^
has just gone from WVU to Minn/Xavier.
Interesting.
March 19th, 2010 at 12:48 PM ^
Enough bricks in the Xavier v. Minnesota game so far to build two houses, and a new M bball arena.
March 19th, 2010 at 12:50 PM ^
That would be nice
I didn't do as bad yesterday as many others--I only lost GTown and Marquette in the Sweet 16, and no one yet in the Elite 8. Luckily I didn't buy into the UTEP hype.
I was 2-2 in close games. BYU pulled it out for me, and the Murray State buzzer beater. I lost Marquette-UW and Texas-Wake.
I've got Cornell and Xavier right now, and Xavier in the Sweet 16 in some brackets. I hope they pull it out.
Where is that vaunted defense? Please don't further jack up my bracket, thanks.
Really Temple? Really?
Normally I'd love the nerds from Cornell bombing away from deep, but not today.
STOP MAKING THREES!!!!
Dear Temple,
Thanks for further ruining my bracket.

sitting here watching xavier take it to minny, i'm happy because why would i pick minny... then i looked at my bracket and...
i picked minny...
so far so good for me today. I took XU and WVU, and took a flier on the Cornell Fightin' Andy Bernards.
I'd like to give a big shout out to Temple, Georgetown, and Marquette. Thank you kindly for fucking my bracket up beyond repair. I hope each one of these schools decide to move to Ohio. That is where they belong.
watching the purdue sienna game is like watching old pickup games from college on fast forward - very sloppy, ridiculous shot selection, but very very fast paced.
13 of 16 yesterday, 3 for 3 so far today
Purdue sucks without Hummel.
Andy Bernard is a happy man today.
Chris Kramer is a giant, steaming turd.
Purdue has nearly as many points in 8 minutes (27) as it did in the whole first half (29).
Finally a game in "Big Ten Territory" worth watching in Wisky-Wofford, and we're stuck watching Oakland get beat up.
Would that make them only the third-best college basketball team in Ohio?
March 19th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
Wow, Sparty is bailed out by . . . a lane violation? I don't know how you call that at that point in the game. It looked pretty routine to me.
March 19th, 2010 at 10:27 PM ^
And to call it at that point of the game is ridiculous. Especially with that hitch motion on the shot. Completely changed the defensive set for the final shot. Looked like he was just waiting to call it.
