I guess staying close to Momma really is the most important thing in Mallett's life. Now that I'm over being pissed at him for leaving, I sorta respect this decision.

by Mallett to stay for one more year. He still needs a lot of work before he were to be considered as a 1st round pick. He certainly has the tools to be a top 10 pick.

I wonder if NFL called LC scouts and got his take on the kid. If they did, I am sure that made them think twice about him and gave Ryan the bad news that he'd be drafted very low

have to stick with Jamarcus for another year. Mallett will be a Raider in 2011, Al Davis can't pass up that arm. Smart move by Mallett, should be a first rounder next year rather than a second or third rounder this year.

Yes, the kid's a moron and a drunk. But I think there's an outside shot he could be the overall #1 pick in 2011 if he ends up performing well at the combine. Scouts love size and potential.

With Tebow and Snead (and Crompton, I suppose) out of the SEC, Mallett will be the top QB in that league by a longshot. Assuming he doesn't get hurt, he'll be a very high draft pick a year from April.
