Glorious season.

The OSU game is still the most wonderful, cathartic sports moment I’ve experienced in my life.

The beauty of the snowfall, the rabid fans, the frenzy and momentum in the 3rd quarter, watching OSU’s defense capitulate to UM’s physicality up front.  Add in a decade of misery and all the negative narratives and expectations…I’m not sure I’ll ever enjoy a sports moment quite as much as that game, even if it was the springboard to “greater” things in the future, like a national title.

Totally with you. Even with the lead, I had this pit in my stomach saying OSU always comes back in these games. Was watching the game by myself in the basement and late in the 3rd quarter my wife came downstairs and was like "Michigan is doing it, they could get this win." That's when I started really believing. Such an awesome win!

i actually didn't have that thought, not that i liked the interception.  but remember at that time we were ahead and putting our second straight drive together of simply mauling them on offense and moving down the field.  you could see we were moving them off the ball, getting space where we needed it, and our defense was giving them fits.

now, ask me about how i think this year will go in the toilet bowl and without our two 1st rd DE's and a couple of other important pieces and yeah, that 'oh no' will be the likely feeling if/when circumstances come around to that.

I’ve gone to 3 or 4 games a year for the past 15 years or so. Ann Arbor just felt different from the moment I rolled in there.

I didn’t watch any 2021 game live other than the ones I went to. I was as apathetic and pessimistic as possible after the 2020 MSU game. When my friend asked me if I wanted to buy his other ticket at face value. I almost said no because I thought it’d be another blood bath.

But thw minute I parked at my friends house on Woodlawn, and started walking down stadium, it just felt electric. It was cool and calm, but charged up. It sounds corny but I got a feeling in my bones that this was something special. The whole experience was magical.
