I am extremely upset. I wish he were 100%.

given JH's tendency to give so little information on injuries, this sounds downright optimistic.
February 18th, 2020 at 5:34 PM ^
He is running out of body parts to injure.

Just wait until he gets switched onto Davison against Wisco...
February 18th, 2020 at 5:35 PM ^
We're probably going to hear this from Juwan very frequently . He's from the Pat Riley coaching tree after all. Riles would never give his opponent any sort of advantage in game prep.

livers was on BTN last nite, and he said he felt pretty good. no pain. said he would play if it was up to him. but maybe JH had a hand in that answer.

Not having Isaiah will certain hamper our efforts to beat the Scarlet Knights but I think the team has done a lot of growing since Isaiah first got hurt. I think we'd give them a run for their money.
February 18th, 2020 at 5:52 PM ^
Well considering we've already beaten them without Livers in about as close to a road game as you can get, I think you're right.

What about onions?
February 18th, 2020 at 6:00 PM ^
I’d sit him, we aren’t winning the big ten and losing at Rutgers doesn’t impact the ncaa bid all that much. A healthy livers is way more important than a seed line
February 18th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
I have to echo this sentiment. A road win here sure would be nice but a healthy Livers is far more important. This team can be special when he is healthy.
February 18th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
We need wins. If he can play and helps us get a win, it happens.
February 18th, 2020 at 10:43 PM ^
This ain't the NBA. There are only so many games and each one causes huge movement in terms of title races, seeding, etc. The game tomorrow could be the difference between getting a bye in the big ten tournament or playing on fucking Wednesday night with Northwestern
February 18th, 2020 at 11:41 PM ^
And? The goal for this team is to make as deep of a run in the ncaa tournament. An away game in a conference race doesn’t impact that, livers being 100 percent does. It’s much better to lose this game and get livers 100 percent than it would be to win it but have livers at 75 percent the rest of the year because he never fully heals
February 18th, 2020 at 11:42 PM ^
That doesn't make sense. If we win tomorrow then it'll help us with the big ten tourney seeding, and also get us more off the bubble for the big tourney and at the very least help improve are seeding for that too if we make it.

HELLFIRE AND BLOODY DAMNATION
Ok, I'm better now. GO BLUE
February 18th, 2020 at 6:20 PM ^
Rutgers has the best home record in Division 1. I repeat, Rutgers......has the best home record in Division 1
I really hope he is ready to go or else it is highly likely we lose tomorrow
February 18th, 2020 at 10:48 PM ^
*whispers*
Rutgers ain't play nobody at home
Their best win was Penn State, which is fine, but not a blue blood or even a team with a recent history of success. Their home games against NW and Nebraska were won by a combined 7 points with the nw game going into ot. It'll be tough if Livers is out, but this probably isn't even a top five most difficult road game for us this year
February 18th, 2020 at 7:21 PM ^
from personal experience, i figured he would miss this game. i could keep playing on a sprained ankle, but the next morning, hooo boy. i just hope he is close to 100% for saturday.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:05 PM ^
I was thinking the same thing. The next morning is the worst.
But perhaps a world class medical staff can take care of that.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:23 PM ^
He shouldn’t go hard to the rim this game, would still be a big boost to have Livers as a perimeter threat

Kid plays super hard, but not smart at times...
Geez
