Actually, his gastric bypass failed/was botched and he nearly died. Hence his malpractice suit this past offseason where Tom Brady testified.
So I don't think he actually ever had a real gastric bypass that could have worked.

Furthermore just having multiple formations and personnel groups doesn't necessarily mean that the offense is good, see ND's 2007 offense.

The reason his contract is so big is because he has to pay for two seats everytime he gets on a plane. Adds up to a lot of $$$ when you take into account all the games and recruiting trips.
