LATE REMINDER: OT Season Is Now Over

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on August 26th, 2023 at 5:43 AM

I meant to post a reminder last night, but because of my real job (some of you have an idea of what I do anyway), I've been largely unavailable since the weather initially rolled through SE Michigan in the wee hours of Thursday.

Anyway, that aside, OT Season ended at midnight, so if you had a great question for the board that wasn't Michigan-related or a random but interesting story or topic, well, too bad. We will need the distraction in the spring, I am sure.

I have never understood why Mgoblog doesn't have an off-topic section like so many other websites do including 11 Warriors.  This place has folks with serious knowledge of many topics and to shut things down, particularly now with Seth's unfortunate situation, seems a bit over the top.

For instance, we often have technology threads.  In a few weeks Apple will be making an announcement about iPhones with a generational change due to policy changes in the EU, and why, if you are thinking of a new iPhone the iPhone 15 would make sense.

Two that quickly come to mind:

1.  More work for the overworked moms (The main reason)

2.  This is a Michigan Sports Blog.  I get that we have become a loosely-defined family over the years, but there are many blogs where you can discuss the iPhone.  I don't know that a Michigan Fan's take on the iPhone is going to be drastically different than that of anyone else.

Yeah, I feel bad that the one poster's sister needed a divorce.  But a Michigan sports blog has got to be the worst place for legal advice.  Maybe getting a good lawyer would be wiser...

OT season is never over on this site. This is the biggest lie on here.  If some random C-list celebrity like George Hamilton dies the morning of the MSU game, there will still be 3 people posting threads on it.
