Kris Frost telling D. Hart to stick with Michigan
January 4th, 2011 at 12:35 AM ^
I really want more kids like this to join our team!!
January 4th, 2011 at 12:36 AM ^
Only because it doesn't start with CC.
Thank you.

Early nominee and now clubhouse leader for MaizeAndBlueManGroup's Man of the Year.

Ricardo may have been recruiting for UM before he actually got on the team, but I have read that he MAY have actually contributed to Dee Hart's decision to decommit because of his own frustrations over the situation at UM.
(Please note the use of the word "MAY" and that this is not something I have heard first-hand, just something I read on the Interwebs...heck, it may have been on this site, I honestly can't recall where I saw it)

I think this is interesting because it seems implausible that a kid would tell someone to go somewhere else so they don't have to face them. Seeing as Dee has also expressed interest in Auburn, it would seem more plausible for Frost to try to convince him to go to Auburn if that is where he was headed.
This seems to be more of an indication that Frost will be blue, than Dee will stick with us. And that is enough for me to get excited about.

and I be like daaaaang
January 4th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
after the National Championship Game. This just seems like a new era with coaching carousels and kid's not knowing what they want. I'm not sold on anyone's list until LOI. No disrespect to Tom but I'll believe the kid's and the coaches when they arrive on campus.
January 4th, 2011 at 6:37 AM ^
National championship is Jan 10. Not an issue.
January 4th, 2011 at 7:36 AM ^
Really? Is that because no kid has ever decommitted after seeing something different? Tell that to Dee. He committed before Bama was practicing at his HS and before watching the Cap One bowl. Now he has changed that. I will believe it when Feb rolls around.

Is early enrolling

Great news to hear before I go to bed.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:43 AM ^
kris frost....you raise me up
January 4th, 2011 at 1:16 AM ^
Things were getting kind of chippy on the board for a while. It's nice that we're all back to raising each other up again.
January 4th, 2011 at 9:33 AM ^
Where's my chippy
January 4th, 2011 at 12:56 AM ^
I can't believe Rivals and Scout are still trying to keep the "Hart to Michigan?!?!?!?!?" story alive.
Give it up already, and go into deeper focus on some of the other guys.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:59 AM ^
was more that Frost wouldn't be telling Hart to stay with Michigan if he weren't also planning on going to Michigan....
January 4th, 2011 at 1:13 AM ^
I suppose that may be true. They didn't mention Hart in the title or anything, so it's not an extreme case of subscription whoring.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:00 AM ^
I imagine Braylon standing outside the M Club as a bouncer - with Dee trying to sneak in.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:56 AM ^
Frost is easily my favorite of this year's recruits. I mean, sure, I am a big fan of Hayes, Countess, Crawford, Beyer and everyone else, but every time I see something new from Frost, it's just better and better.
That said, this seems like a really great group of kids the coaches are bringing in.

Mr Maize-- Kellen Jones

Another high caliber defensive commit. Boom Boom Pow
January 4th, 2011 at 1:00 AM ^
Actually he wants a shot at WR. This kid is a talent, i really hope he is a silent commit to us.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:15 AM ^
I think it's obvious that he is. Maybe in a few years he can be our Shayne Skov......(no matter who's coaching).........
January 4th, 2011 at 1:23 AM ^
skov got away with a nice Pass Interference call in the 2nd Qtr. Good LB though.
January 4th, 2011 at 8:37 AM ^
Saw that too, hand on the back of the tight end while going across the middle. I was shocked the announcers didnt say anything
January 4th, 2011 at 1:02 AM ^
Behind a Scout paywall -- apparently Kris Frost hopes and expects Rich Rod to be the coach next year.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:02 AM ^
Good news about Countess. Only problem is, you know what other DB dominated at the AAA game? Justin Turner.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:05 AM ^
You know who wasn't even invited to the AAA game? Chuck Norris.
And Lloyd Brady.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:57 AM ^
It is possible that Lloyd Brady could make an appearance at the Army All American Bowl for all we know
January 4th, 2011 at 1:08 AM ^
and besides..... we're talkin about practice, man.
January 4th, 2011 at 1:19 AM ^
Turner never really had problems with athleticism or physical ability. He just obviously didn't have the drive and determination to succeed in major college football. You can't show up two years in a row out of shape and not knowing how the defense works.
January 4th, 2011 at 2:07 AM ^
For a second, I forgot you were talking about JT, and thought your last sentence was referring to Gerg......
January 4th, 2011 at 2:13 AM ^
GERG and his hair are always in terrific shape.
January 4th, 2011 at 2:24 AM ^
Please forgive me. I meant no ill will towards his beautiful silver locks.
January 4th, 2011 at 3:26 AM ^
Those are some luscious locks. Greg is a silver fox.
January 4th, 2011 at 8:23 AM ^
+1 to you for making me LOL. Need more like this to get through the week from hell.
January 4th, 2011 at 8:45 AM ^
That would be great news, please more news like this
January 4th, 2011 at 8:50 AM ^
Does anyone else want to see what a back like a chris perry, tyrone wheatley, (healthy) Brandon Minor, A-train could do in this offense? I know that Dee Hart is a nice talent, but I'd like to see a more prototypical running back be picked up for this offense. It seems( could be wrong) that most of the running backs we recruit for this offense are of the jitter-bug variety.
January 4th, 2011 at 9:11 AM ^
It's nice to have Kris and Blake there to be in the ear of Lyons or/and Hart. May not matter, but can only help.
