Klatt agrees with Leinart, The Game “was best environment I’ve ever been at”
“That was the best environment I’ve ever been at, in any sport, at any level. It was absolutely phenomenal.”

To your point about the noise coming thru on TV- I was really impressed with that. I mean, it felt like half the time, the announcers had to yell because the volume was so high. And it wasn't just on 3rd down - it sounded loud before every single OSU play. As it should be.

I was planning on waiting until Friday night

I am with you, I’ve watched it every day so far, currently watching it now. It’s amazing every time. Who knew beating Ohio State, going to the Big Ten Championship, and chasing a playoff spot, could be so cleansing?

Thank you to everyone who was there. You were part of the outcome.

We need to create a movement of Michigan fans to buy as many tickets for The Game next year as possible. It would be great to kick their home field advantage in the balls. For the past decade there have been far too many OSU fans in the Big House on game day. It would be great to return the favor.

Of all the UM games I've been to, starting with being a 6th grader as my parents bought same day tickets at Crysler to sit in upper end of south EZ for home opener vs. Iowa in 1974 (UM won 31-7).
The very best (which include pre-game build-up in most cases) that I have been to (NOTE: a UM win is a must to make this list):
1. 1997 OSU - nuff said. all on the line. Charles won the Heisman that day.
2. 2003 OSU - 100th anniversary of The Game - winner goes to RB (no B10 playoff to worry about)
3. 2021 OSU - early and late snow made it an amazing day!!!!!!!
4. 1985 OSU - my last game as a senior and 1st UM home game that ended in the dark - JH was fricking incredible at QB and the atmosphere was insane like last Saturday even though Iowa had wrapped up B10 title earlier in the day. Went on the field with a close college friend who died of Lou Gehrigs/ALS in 2019.
5. 1995 OSU - Timmy B 313 on 37 carries. Seeing OSU fans in Section 12 with roses entering the stadium on their way before the game to leaving to the fricking Citrus Bowl after 31-23 loss!
6. 1979 Indiana - Wangler to Carter completed in our end of field. Football Valhalla! This has little build up but Lee Corso was building a solid program at IU.
7. 2011 OSU - this is Michigan video intro - the near death experience when Braxton Miller overthrew a TD pass in the final minute. Still a great day!
8. 2019 MSU - seeing Dicktonio's scowl on the field after getting smoked 44-10.
9. 1997 Iowa - a good team and we trailed 21-7 at halftime to rally for 28-24 win that set the stage for the rest of '97
10. 1991 OSU - the outcome was never in doubt but shred my two tix with a cool OSU engineering intern whom I worked with (I think I charged him an exorbitant $30 for his tick) - he was a huge fan and told me he was envious of how UM fans raised their hands on the HAIL part of our song - and how cool it was. Of course, Desmond ran it back 91 yards and struck the pose in our EZ

#9 was my first game. The neighbor had 2 tickets he won the night before at some charity thing. He was an OSU fan, gave them to my brother and I for free. I was sitting near the corner where Tuman caught the winning TD pass. That was a good game to be at. I swear Tim Dwight took 4 minutes and ran 250 yards to house that punt before halftime

Stop exaggerating. There wasn't that much snow.

Siap, but our ol’ friend Finebaum said as much also:
”the scene after that game is one of the greatest I have ever seen in college football history.”

Hat's off to Fox Sports for showing the stadium atmosphere at the end of the game without interrupting it. The scene was awesome and they let it flow. It was great television.
Here is an article about it:
