Kai-Leon Hebert Decommits

Per Sam Webb. Seemed quite inevitable, moving along, nothing to see here....

I would love to see Drevno get a chance to move up, but maybe I would like to see him prove his worth first.  What I have seen so far leaves me unimpressed, maybe when his recruits get in, and this line improves and our offense doesn't sputter when it counts the most, then he can go be a HC somewhere else.  But why would anyone hire him now???

"Hey just to inform you, I've de-committed from Michigan," Herbert told Scout. "Just things went south. They showed their true colors and it wasn't for me.

Showed their true colors. Well the damn kid hasn't been solidly committed to the team since that video it seems. Of coarse the staff is going to doubt is allegiance to the team. What fantasy world do these fucking spoiled brat cry babies live in now days? He is the one who planned a visit to Florida right before signing day. I'm sorry but I cant remain positive and sugar coat that the kid is a young little jackass.

"Just things went south." (bagmen make for a more 'lucrative' career in the south)

"They showed their true colors and it wasn't for me" (instead of greenbacks, all Michigan promised him was a chance to compete for the MAIZE and BLUE,  and a World-Class Education/Degree.)

I do not understand why we are having such difficulties getting OL this year. Immediate playing time is available.

Huh?  We have 5 other OLineman committed, with two probably to see significant playing time next year.

Yea losing Wilson and Leatherwood sucked.  But Ruiz maybe the best interior lineman croot out there, and Filiaga is a pretty polished OT coming out of high school.

Wonder how much of it is being able to sell results.  Looking at it from the recruit's perspective, Michigan hasn't been a good school for offensive linemen for pretty much most of their life, and Harbaugh's success at Stanford was almost half a life time ago for the guys he's recruiting.

Would be pretty easy for other coaches to negatively recruit Michigan and Harbaugh's offensive line development. As crazy as that may sound.

What does this mean?  Did we ignore him when we thought we had Wilson?  This is not a cool statement about Michigan, granted it's from a teenager.

Anyone have insight???  Bothers me when prospects speak ill of Michigan.  I can understand if we pull a scholorship offer late in the game but don't think that was the case here.
