Curious how this will look against the blue-out

The only time I remember them wearing all maize accessories was against Penn State last year. They might of wore them when Adidas was still around, but I can't remember, thankfully.

The blue out ain’t happenin. Nothing from the university coming out about it, so that implies it’s being drummed up by fringe Twitter accounts. Not a recipe for our fans base to pull it off.

Nothing at all on MGoBlue.com, the official athletics site.

The only thing we have is a video of Sainristil saying “wear blue.” That’s not an announcement of a “blue out.” The football account‘s tweet with the video doesn’t mention wearing blue or a blue out. So the ONLY marketing we have for this “blue out” is Sainristil saying to wear blue and Moore’s retweet.

So I’ll say this again. It’s not going to happen. Ignoring how stubborn our fan base can be with things like this to begin with, it has been so poorly communicated that the message isn’t going to get across anyway.

Jealous that I can’t be there if true. I would think that environment would be beyond electric and one of the sweetest looks. That stadium will look amazing come Saturday. No way MSU pulls off another lucky win with UTL

Excellent. I love the all blue uniforms.

But more importantly, I don’t ever want to see a maize jersey again. Or white pants. The other 4 combinations are all winners.

Honestly, I will accept-without-complaint practically any compromise as long as they aren't doing the maize jerseys.

Also, though I adore the originals and would love Michigan to be an "only originals, always" kinda club, they've worn far worse alternates before than the all-blues. At least they are solid. Further, in ranking uniform pieces, I'd prioritize the jersey as having aesthetic value far superior to the pants. Keep the blue tops, avoid zubaz bottoms, and--basically--I'll take it!!

I thought this was interesting. Tennessee is going "Dark Mode" Saturday night. Looks pretty cool!

It would be cool if black was actually one of Tennessee’s colors. Call me old fashioned but I prefer when teams actually wear, you know, their team colors for home games.

I’m sure the kids love it, though.

My wife likes those uniforms. This year has completed my long project to convert her from her misplaced Alabama fandom to her home state Volunteers.

They are fun to watch, although I suspect someone in the SEC is going to figure them out like Don Brown got figured out.

A little theory im keeping an eye on going forward...blue pants = ground mauling. Last year OSU, this year PSU, and you know Jim is gonna wanna shove a game worn sock down Spartys throat. A potential trend to keep an eye on

I've always thought that if you are going to have everyone in the stadium wear a certain color that you should try and make your uniforms contrast that as much as possible just to stand out. Be interested to hear from anybody that has played in a game like this as a quarterback to hear if that background effect helps or hinders finding receivers down field.
