And there are already thousands of posts here daily of people complaining about people posting about people posting repetitive posts. And there’s plenty of people making posts about people posting repetitive posts. And there are plenty more of people posting repetitive posts about people posting about posting repetitive posts. It’s all...redundant.

Honestly, yes. This would be the highest rated recruit for Michigan since recruiting rankings started about 20 years ago or so. Jerry Meyer's Crystal ball is also a big deal because when he CB's things they have a good chance of happening. He isn't a biased Michigan reporter that gets news from our point of view, he's a director of scouting for 247 and has a lot of sources and his predictions are pretty accurate.

Just watched my first Christopher highlights. He is already physically ready for D1 basketball.

If we land Todd and Christopher it will be like our Zion and Barrett. Prepare for ESPN slobbing over Michigan basketball

But now the most important thing is we need Howard to get the team back on track. If we continue playing poorly then it could easily screw all of this up

We are 3-4 in our last 7 games and 2 of those wins were vs the biggest cupcakes on our schedule so please don't act like everything is perfect right now outside of just an injury to Livers. Even with Livers we got exposed hard vs Louisville, upset by Illinois, and lost to Oregon.

We need better defensive adjustments. We need our 3pt shooting to be more consistent. Brooks needs to be more consistent. Our offense at times becomes too reliant on Zavier Simpson and he isn't a scorer

I mean yeah two wins against cupcakes but in addition to a meh road loss to Illinois we have three losses to teams that are going to be protected seeds in the tournament, two of them on the road. I'm a bit less optimistic, too, but let's not act like Michigan is in a state of collapse here.

I do, however, agree that a real collapse (you know, sub-.500 B1G record, lose in the first round to a higher seed in the tourney) would be rough and could shake the commitment of a recruit or two. But given that Juwan is new, he might get more leeway than he would otherwise.

Im not trying to say theyre in a state of collapse its just you can tell the team is at a point where they need to figure things out asap before this becomes who they are-just an above average team. They started the season amazing. The team right now doesn't look like the team that got us all hype in the beginning of the season. There is just some trends forming that I don't like.

Mainly I think Howard is asking too much of Zavier on offense. Brooks needs to be more consistent. And Howard needs better defensive adjustments when its clear guys like Pritchard, Cassius, Garza etc are exposing holes in the defense

247 lists interest as "Warm" which is an improvement but it is still a Kentucky/MSU race

The main thing we can hope for Bates is just that he doesn't land at MSU. He would ruin our fun singlehandedly if the hype is real. 247 says he is the best prospect since Lebron James and I don't wanna see that in Spartan green and white

Why 5*s still consider MSU is beyond me. Izzo criminally mismanaged Jaren Jackson and Miles Bridges coming back for his sophomore year dropped his draft stock from top 5 pick to back end of the lottery pick. Not to mention wings don't exactly seem to be a focus in their offense

Holy shit! I never really considered this an actual possibility. Landing Joshua Christopher could arguably give us the best class in the country let  alone the big ten for 2020. This is amazing! HAIL HOWARD!

FWIW, if you add Christopher to the class on 247's class calculator we're still 4th, just a hair behind UNC.

Duke, UK, and UNC's classes are LOADED with each school pulling in 3 or 4 five-star players. UK's class in particular is just stupid, with 6 of the top 44 players in the country.

Still, Michigan would be right up there in that tier. Not too shabby.

There were rankings back then too. They were a big deal to people who followed recruiting.

Rivals and 247 came later. Those old scouting services aren't so easy to find online, but they are out there. Maybe look at this article to see where the Fab Five were ranked. And maybe try to be a little nicer.
