JBB has Turf Toe

A Michigan RT that missed the OSU game will also miss the Peach Bowl. He has a nagging Turf Toe injury and will be sitting out. I wonder if that wording is better for the uninformed trolls?

Honest question. When probable #1 pick Bosa drops out due to an injury that couldn’t have healed until the Rose bowl, this board was overflowing with condescension and pointing to it as a sign of turmoil amongst tOSU team. A couple flips of the calendar and 0 tOSU players are sitting out of the bowl game, including their 1st round QB pick and probable 1st round pick Jones.  UM has 4ish players sitting out, Ive read the comments on JH and players playing hurt, is there any fire to the smoke or only rumors?

**with that question being asked, turf toe will humble any player regardless of their will. It’s horrible.

Excited to see the young guys get playing time. Not as deflating if you think about the game as a preview for 2019.

Popular to contrary belief on the board, this is an important game!

Hopefully JBB is the last guy that needs to sit out.

Primitive and reductive. Glad I'm not your kid. Attitude of scorn is not going to help her or anyone. I absolutely agree that the bowl game is far from meaningless, but you're not making the case--have you got one to make?

EDIT: Obviously, people aren't real interested when you impugn their parenting skills; I apologize for that. But otherwise, I stand by this analysis. I have a daughter who plays soccer and who sometimes travels the same path. I don't see scorning such behavior as productive, and the notion that this is some widespread illness that certain men suffer. . . bunk of a kind we hear all too often from certain corners of the net. Lectures about how everyone needs to be tougher are a dime a dozen; the fact that a certain subset subscribes doesn't make them legitimate.

The Cube, that is exactly how I am viewing this bowl game...almost as a really really really glorified Spring Game.  I don't particularly care if we lose.  This "Bowl Team" is not the "team" of our regular season.

Hopefully the youth gets some really good experience and hopefully they expand the play book and take some risks and see if some different formations...even being more pass heavy than run heavy...works and can be effective.

It’s really embarrassing how many reactionary assholes are in this fanbase, assholes with little or no information or perspective that jump all over young men making important choices about their futures. Hope they shut the hell up now.

And good luck, JBB.

turf toe sucks.  if you have ever had it you would understand.  it is very difficult to get any push off that foot because you've hyper extended the toe(s) and you just can't get any dig/grab/leverage until it is 100% healed.
