Jaylen Harrell: "Mason Graham - he's a Dog"
Jaylen Harrell in a presser today when asked about surprise names we haven't heard of as Michigan fans yet:
"Mason Graham, he's a dog. He's going to be real good for us. Derrick Moore - he's good too."
Really excited about Graham. When his name was on a short list of players that were considering going elsewhere with the Harbaugh rumors, I was rattled! Going to be a great one for us.
Imma let you finish, but does anyone know about John O’Neill retiring as a B1G ref? I saw someone mention it on Reddit but haven’t seen anything official, and his LinkedIn still lists him as active. Is this true to or too good to be true?
Please be true… Please be true… Please be true…
Would make me smile.
And take that bald-headed basketball ref D.J. Carstensen with him!
I fear your post assumes the hiring committee at OSU won't select a worst replacement.
So is it unpopular to say O'Neill's crew isn't that bad anymore? The totally incompetent dude was replaced by the female ref and now they're... fine?
I thought the game his crew did was one of our best-officiated games. Can’t remember which one, but I remember being surprised at how well an O’Neill game was going. I seem to remember a lot of PI issues with his crew that didn’t happen this year, and it’s not like the referee is the one throwing those flags.
I’ll take the crew that did the OSU game any day. Called holding fairly (actually called OSU for it! Amazing!), PI was called evenly and against both teams. Only problem was they didn’t always catch the OSU tackles getting a head start on their pass pro, but it was still a damn sight better than some of the shit reffing we have seen in, for example, 2016 and 2017.

Oddly enough, I didn't really notice that either because...
Funny because Mazi Smith said he's doing OK, but he's still a 17 yr old kid with lots to do
They both could true ... he could kick ass but still have a lot to learn
Good....good, we need these guys to come in and add depth and minutes, hopefully they're as good as advertised.
I love this language, I really do. Sometimes being a dog is good, and other times it connotes being bad. ;-)
Carry on ...
And sometimes bad means good and sometimes it means bad.
Words is funny.
Slim chance vs fat chance.
Had to look up connotes, as I thought at first you meant connotates.

Its like being the greatest of all time and also being the guy that everyone blames.
Being the (scape) GOAT
Also like your totally awesome coach just resigned....
oops sorry I meant re-signed, he is staying on for another 5 years.
Graham ended up being considered maybe the best lineman (on either side of the ball) in California, so he was almost certainly under-ranked despite being a solid 4-star. Moore was a borderline 5-star who tore it up in all-star games at the end of his high school career. I'm hopeful of big things from both
As part of the musical upbringing of the younger generations….
Great news ! Also , hearing about Darius Clemens getting some reps with ones already is huge . This guy is going to an animal
Plays a mean sax, too.
The comment about Graham comes almost at the end of the clip, at 5:00.
I think Harrell is going to be a dog too. He’s not the pass rusher and won’t be the pass rusher Ojabo was, but his talents in stopping the run were impressive last year. MacDonald and co. saw it too and you’ll notice that in his snap counts vs more power teams (i.e. Iowa). He also had that great play on the line vs OSU.
I think he’s going to be a good hybrid player who may offer a little bit in the pass rush but be great in setting the edge and in drop coverage. Maybe see Upshaw switch in for him on passing downs.
Also, Mason Graham is gonna be a stud
