J-Force rumor requires voracious veracity
Several message boards are reporting that Jason is coming back to Michigan. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I never even thought this was a possibility. As far as I recall, the Forcier-to-Michigan transfer rumors always involved Chris--and were additionally hollow.
Is there anything to this rumor? Any corroborations? Do we expect him to be a GA (all I can imagine he can be)? And can we still bring in the third brother as a GA (if he ever planned such a thing, that is)? That would be unexpectedly and senselessly cool.

This is discussed in the second part of this notebook:

"U-M athletic director Bill Martin said the construction project has wired the stadium ground for lights, either temporary ones at the TV networks' request, or for permanent fixtures. No decision has been made on permanent lights yet."
It looks like someone is trying to sway Bill in favor night games.
Or he's being smart and putting in the capability now so that it isn't insanely expensive if they decide 10 years from now that they want to have night games.
kinda of like how the big house was built with footings to possibly someday increase it's capacity to 150 thousand.
...and electrical conduits thick enough we still use 'em. That West Virginia yokel was a genius!
Or he's being smart and realizing that it's pretty expensive to have those huge portable light fixtures for late-in-the-year 3:30 games.
I read somewhere that the TV network pays for the portable lights, since they are the ones that set the game time.
That's very possible. I also just thought about the lack of space for those portable lights now that the stadium walls extend to the street. Those things used to have a huge footprint.

The way I understand the rumors, JForce has one year of eligibility left and since he graduates this May, he can come in (to Michigan) as a graduate student and be eligible this Fall where he would presumably be fighting for the first backup spot behind his younger brother (awkward).
CForce can transfer and be eligible next year I believe.
the Freep this morning. It said that he can come to M right way as a Grad student, but that the NCAA "loophole" that allowed for grad students to play right away (w/o waiting he standard year) has elapsed. So unless the rule is revised he can be a student but not play this year.

I recall an interview recently where he said he will be graduating from Stanford this spring and is looking at graduate programs at Michigan as he always wanted a Michigan degree. Also mentioned that he was possibly looking at some manner of working with the football program.
Interesting title as I am sitting here watching V for Vendetta..

They mention Michael Shaw as a WR... I wonder if he's been working some in the slot or if its just a mistake?
He's been listed there the whole time; he's still primarily a RB, but RR likes the slot guys and the RBs to be interchangeable.
Shaw is officially a slot, and always has been at M.
