Injury thread

Submitted by WolverineMan1988 on November 19th, 2022 at 5:30 PM

I was at the game today so pardon me if there are updates that I am unaware of or if this isn’t worth a board post, but I feel like an injury thread is worth it just because there are so many guys banged up who could play in The Game and much of our success depends on them:

Corum - I’m assuming he’ll be ok and it wasn’t more than a deep knee bruise

Edwards - held out for precautionary reasons hopefully?

Keegan - ankle sprain?? Hoping for the best with him

Schoonmaker - anybody have an update here?

Henning - I have no idea

Colson - left the game today but I have no idea when or why? I just noticed in the 4th quarter it was Mullings out there

Morris - assuming/hoping holding him out today was precautionary as he was dressed

Am I missing anybody? Any updates?

I read Corum was cleared to play the second half. He didn’t feel 100% so they pulled him.

He’ll be 100% next week. (Based on zero info but I’m going to will it into existence)

On a separate note…damn…I feel for NHG. He was going to be a foundational player on this defense and is literally out all year with a hammy. That sucks.

  • Cade is out for the year.
  • Corum has a knee bruise and should go against OSU.
  • All is out for the year.
  • Schoon dressed today, went through warm-ups and ran down the tunnel and slapped the banner. He should be ready to give it a go next week.
  • Keegan was out again, insiders think he'll be ready.
  • Jones was back last week.
  • Morris probably could've played but held out to be ready for next week (per his own quote).
  • Didn't see Colson.
  • NHG is still out and it doesn't look good, although he could play next week (+B1GC Game, and two CFP games) and keep his redshirt.
  • Green is back and played.
  • Perry is back.
  • McBurrows is out, not sure if he dressed.
  • Paige is back.
  • Wagner and Kolesar are done for the year.

Mullings subbed in at the end for Sainristil when Illinois tried to kill the clock by running the ball. We were matching their heavy formation. Colson was in for that series too, IIRC
