I will be happy if...(Spring Game Edition)

Submitted by budz on

Spring Game will air tomorrow (on tape delay) at 3pm EST.   What are you hoping to see?  What will make you feel most comfortable about the 2017 season?

Personally, i'm looking at our secondary (a third CB in particular), Brandon Peters' accuracy, and for a young OL to show out.

...Jabrill Peppers pulls out of the draft and announces his return by lining up at slot receiver, where he's covered by Khaleke Hudson, and then Hudson sticks to Peppers like glue for the entire day.

a certain mgoblogger i know, we'll call him lawrence, says that the spring game is going to be able to be seen on-line, via mgoblue.com.   i didn't ask about the time it would be shown.

any truth to this rumor?

Chris Evans shows up having put on 30 pounds of muscle without a loss of speed an quickness. All day he is hitting holes and running over people. He throws a walk on linebacker into the stands.

In all seriousness, Chris Evans hits holes and that holes are there.

Seriously.

I want to see the offense hang some serious points on the defense for a change during a Spring game.

Since defenses are almost always ahead at this point, that would really give me hope that we can compete for titles this season.

1. No injuries
2. The oline get solid push in the run game.
3. The new secondary look solid with some flashes of excellence
4. Peters look damn good at QB

Wolverine Devotee to not delay the game by going streaking for once. Aside from that, for someone to say "the offense is ahead of the defense". And mean it. Just for kicks.

is not prominently featured in news stories regarding the game next week.

Same goes for "tendon," "ligament," or acronyms involving the latter word.

I'll be happy if there are no Spartyesque fake stats, like when Damion Terry threw for 400 yards and ran for 200 more and accounted for 5 TD's in a scrimmage the defense won 29-16.

That the NCAA fasts forwards to January and the presentation of the NC Trophy to the Wolverines.
