I love Rich Rod

Submitted by Lofter4 on
For those not watching, Coach Rod is on ESPN with a live press conference. The first thing he does is stress the high GPA last spring, and then say that Mike Barwis is the best strength and conditioning coach in the country. God I can't wait for Saturday.

No offense to the Broncos but I'd just love to absolutely hang them for a score of 50-20. That would be glorious!

I don't know how many of you are watching, but the man is almost crying right now. He's speaking from the heart, so all those fuckers who say he's heartless and doesn't give a shit can get the hell out. I implore everyone to watch this interview.

Seriously, do journalists see what they're doing to this man? He's not an invincible superman with no emotion. Jesus christ I just want to give the man a hug.

The fact that he even had to do this is disgusting. The time he was supposed to be breaking down the depth chart...he had to talk about how Stokes and Hawthorne came to his office to find out what they did wrong, because that son of a bitch used them as fodder to peddle his own filth. Gutter journalism, at its finest. Repulsive that RR had to go up there and address such bullshit.

that RR will bring us a Championship. He is a down to earth guy and I will forever have his back. I hope the team comes together from this and show how much they care about their coach.

I don't think Rosenberg realized that what he did would fire up are players and get them closer and closer to absolutely annihilating WMU on Saturday and "his Spartans" on October 3rd. If our players show even half of the passion that Rodriguez is showing it's gonna be a long day and a long season for our opponents this season.

I certainly didn't cry (I'm a cold mutha), but I felt really bad for Rich. It's such a bullshit situation to have to deal with less than a week from the opener. Up until today, I have been giving him the benefit of the doubt; after this, I'm all in (corny as that phrase has become). I have a new-found respect for this man, and I'm more confident than ever that he will lead us home. I hope every major sports media outlet crucifies that crusty fucking douchenozzle (Rosenberg). Five more days. To recycle NinjaFootball's sig: We are going to be a machine.

bullshit is making me want to suit up and hit somebody. Fuck them. Beat. Western. If I wasn't jacked for the game before this past weekend I'm ready to start drinking beers for it now. Is tailgating 5 days early inappropriate?

I do feel bad for Hawthrone and Stokes, who unwittingly partook in this story. Even though they told the truth, they had no clue that they would be in the eye of the firestorm. You could tell by Stokes's "Hooooooo!" at the beginning of his response that his response was off-the-cuff and not preceded by "I'm doing a story on the Michigan program that might incur major sanctions against the football team. Now, what are your workouts like?" Rosenberg explained that away in the interview, saying he wanted the kids to tell the truth . . . which is the same reason I tape all my telephone conversations without telling the person on the other end. It needs to be raw and unedited. Wait a minute . . . that's dishonest and illegal? Oh. EDIT: I made a typo, but I like HawthROne better than HawthORne so I'm gonna leave it like that.

when it first came out, but I'm really digging this "All in for Michigan" thing now. I'm all in, boys. I'm all in for Rich Rod. DAMNIT, HE IS OUR GUY. I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE CERTAIN OF ANYTHING. So if you're not all in, get the f out.
