Let's go CC!!! tied at 1 early...
1-1 in game two. BC scored 19 seconds in, CC gets a PP goal just now at 4:34.
I think this BC v. CC game deserves its own thread. Especially since CC JUST SCORED 2-1 CC !!!!!!
Col. Coll up 2-1 w/12 mins left in 1st.
2-1 CC, nice rush up the left side and buries his own rebound.
Now 3-1 CC
Goal for CC. Are we sure we'd rather play Colorado College???
CC is a really bad defensive hockey team with a great power play. Which is great for us if we play even vaguely disciplined hockey.
That was a helluva save there by CC's goalie.

This game for whatever reason reminds me of the Wings/Phoenix series from last years playoffs.
PP for BC

We already beat CC this year! That game was crazzyyyyy 6-5

I thought for sure CC was going to score.

4-2 game now

BC scores, CC weak defensively still. 4-2. Plenty of time.
March 25th, 2011 at 10:52 PM ^
They keep lighting it up.
March 25th, 2011 at 10:54 PM ^
CC shorthanded goal! 6-2!
March 25th, 2011 at 10:57 PM ^
maybe we should quit asking for CC since they clearly look like the better team at the moment. 7-2!
March 25th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
I'm going with the theory that they're using up all their goals tonight and won't have anything left for us.
March 26th, 2011 at 12:55 AM ^
Lets hope that is the case. It will be tough for them to string together 2 games like this in a row.
March 25th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
7-2, CC. /stunned
March 25th, 2011 at 11:08 PM ^
this is like watching USC of the 05-06 era lose by 50 to UCLA or something.
also, our GWG was really not that controversial. ESPNU needs to stop yammering about it. Can you provide me one shread of evidence that it was not in the net? The whole goalie was in the net and the puck can be seen in the net. I guess that what happens when you sit 2 guys at a desk and tell them to talk about 4 college hockey games for 4 straight hours

I am so tired of this ESPN studio crew trashing the video review of the winning goal. It was clearly a goal. The problem, though, is that the NCAA rules guy they just had on just threw fuel on the fire by saying that the definitive view for the officials was the overhead. That's just stupid. The higher opposite end shot showed that there was white between the puck and the goal line and that the puck was not on edge. That's a goal, no matter how close the overhead made it look. Why they would be saying the overhead was the definitive view is really confusing. I'm still kind of confused why neither of the announcers, or the supposed experts on the ESPN studio show, will mention this when talking about this goal.

Who cares. In a week nobody will remember.
March 25th, 2011 at 11:45 PM ^
Oh, I really don't care all that much, and you are 100% right, but it just makes the NCAA look bad (if it's possible to make them look worse) when it comes to their officiating for college hockey. If the NCAA "rules editor" would have just pointed to the obvious view, instead of the obscured overhead, as the definitive view, there never would have been any "controversy" to begin with.
