Help with Mgo site
Can someone tell me why there are times when I click to advance to the next page of the mgoboard topics on the right of the page that it doesn't work and just gives me 5 former posts (most of which are diaries) instead of going to the previous board topics? Does this happen to anyone else or am I just doing something wrong? It drives me nuts!

Glitches, bitches.

I have the same problem - and I don't have a middle button on my mouse. What's a man to do?

Thank you very much my friend, clicking on "recent" worked. This has been driving me crazy for a long time too. And it really sucked because new posts come so fast that I've missed a lot of news not being able to go to the next page.
Edit: Oops, meant to thank justingoblue.

right click: "open in new window" (or tab)

Many thanks!!

It doesn't give you diaries though, it just disappears and all that is left is the diaries. It sucks, but if that's the worst thing I have to say about mgoblog, then that's alright with me.

I seriously never said anything because I just assumed I was a moron (which I am). Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Click "recent" and then do it. It changes the order of the threads, but you can scroll as many pages if you want.

At least there is an option to see the next page of mgothreads on the website. The Android app only gives you a small number of threads and doesn't allow you to see more.

That bugged me too. A simple next page button is all that'd be necessary.

It seems like this problem should have been fixed by now. I'm not complaining because now I know how to get around the problem, but enough people have asked this question that I assumed it would have been taken care of.

this type of stuff would never happen at TTB :-)
December 12th, 2011 at 10:53 AM ^
Well...it probably wouldn't happen at TTB, but that's largely because Blogspot is super easy to use and infinitely less prone to problems than Drupal.

It seems like Brian and his brother are very cautious about changing anything after the site rebuild in response the great malware incursion. There's been at least one subsequent attack (probably more) that I recall, which they defended successfully -- but still they are largely in lockdown mode.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know why the MGoDroid app no longer appears in the Android Marketplace? I'm guessing that it is because it hasn't been updated for the new version of Android, but I recently got a new phone and tablet and I can't download the app -- it's not in the Marketplace, and I can't even download from the page at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.atami.mgodroid

I know its just called MgoBlog now....

I hadn't seen it addressed anywhere before and it was really starting to bother me so I figured I'd ask. Thanks for the help my mgofriends!

It's a javascript problem, but it's one of those things that could be a 5 minute fix or a massive bug hunt. I'm sure it will be fixed when Brian's to-do list gets short.

I have found that the easiest solution for me is to make sure I am on mgb so often that I don't get that many posts behind.

I thought it was just me using goverment computers.
