Hi, Guy!

Outside the top-500 now, but expect the “Michigan Bump” soon, if you care that much about that stuff.

WELCOME!

The defensive staff isn't even trying anymore. Then again none of them are good recruiters outside of Mary Jean so I guess this isn't surprising.

Casey Phinney #938 (no other power 5 offers)

Domincik Guidice NR (no other power 5 offers)

TJ Guy #798 (beat out Pitt and Syracuse)

By the way none of these kids have even visited Michigan.

And then people wonder why OSU hangs half a hundred on us every year. Neg away but this is not acceptable recruiting for Michigan. If this were MSU everyone would be laughing their ass off. How much longer do we have to put up with a staff that not only isn't closing the gap with OSU but it's getting wider?

Bo Schembechler said no man or coach is more important than the team. The Team The Team The Team. So when is it acceptable to start talking about replacements for Harbaugh? Is it when he's 0-6 against OSU? 0-7? 0-10? I just want to know when it's ok to have this conversation. How is this the best we can do recruiting? How? How are people ok with this? If Jim wants to go coach Boston College and recruit against Syracuse and Pitt and service academies I say we let him so we can get a real coach in here. OSU is beyond lapping us, we aren't even in the same universe as them anymore. Leaders and Best though right? Jim Harbaugh is turning into post 2015 Mark Dantonio. And yall are just happy to watch it happen.

Dude-- I am the biggest UofM fan out there -- I went there for 7 years-- Why does this board kill everyone that has a different point of view -- it just so happens Harmon1 is right -- have you seen osu recruiting????!!! And what is our record against them... this blog is like "nothing to see here just move along"

I love when people make the "cheating" excuse, as if not giving players their monetary worth just to follow rules that the ncaa doesn't even care about in a corrupt system is better than letting kids make the money they deserve and drive a nice car in college. Neither choice is better than the other.

It’s laughable you think Ohio State has to cheat to get top players. They put like 10-13 guys a year into the NFL and all of which are usually drafted with guaranteed money. You do not have to cheat when you are guaranteed to win the conference every year and send nearly all your starters to the NFL.

Michigan just continues to recruit guys that (1) are not ready to contribute for 2-3 years; (2) have no respectable offers; and (3) are not legit NFL prospects. This November: Ohio State 49 Michigan 17.

What's enjoyable about watching your school sign recruit after recruit that you know isn't good enough to beat let alone compete with OSU? Can you honestly sit here and say the players UM has taken commitments from on defense this class give you confidence that they can slow down the juggernaut in Columbus? They aren't even getting looks from other power 5 teams!

I've watched us get blasted for 15 years isn't enough enough? Lets get someone in here that cares about recruiting because that is how you win in CFB these days.

There’s tons enjoyable about it.  I love watching football and rooting for recruits.  OSU has been far out-recruiting and out performing Michigan since end of WW2

you just put way too much of your self worth into a game and we’re all sick of your stupid takes that only you care about

You must have missed the Bo, Moeller, and Carr decades where UM regularly beat OSU. Good to know you've given up and are ok with OSU putting half a hundred on our ass so you can brag about 3 stars and team gpa. Unreal how soft UM fans have become. They've quit.

OSU is 39-25-2 against Michigan since 1955.

what are these “regularly beat” days you speak of?  Aside from a 15 year period from 1985-2000 where Michigan went 12-3-1, it has been a 50:50 or even slight OSU lean

Bo was barely over .500.

aside from that small era where OSU was down, they have been far ahead of Michigan in every aspect since WW2

Thank you for proving my point. Outside of the rich rod rod hoke and now harbaugh years this series was at the worst even and at the best in favor of michigan.

Time to get a real coach in here. So sick of this shit taking all these recruits that have no business at Michigan.

This is only a problem if you still choose to use OSU as the benchmark for our program. I stopped doing that and I find that it makes me less of an angry/disappointed fan. PSU is a much more reasonable benchmark at this point and they will be for the foreseeable future as long as OSU keeps their machine running. So my advice is to stop comparing every recruit to the kids OSU is recruiting (I promise you'll continue to be disappointed on a regular basis) and instead look at our class as a whole and ask "does this group of kids give us a better than 50/50 chance of beating PSU and Wisconsin?". If so, try to be satisfied with that expectation.

Once again you lose the plot dude. No one is saying they like losing to OSU. No one is saying they think everything is perfectly rosy. But somehow everyone else can convey those thoughts without being a redundant, annoying asshole.

Quit using those curse words,”us and we and together.“  You are not part of US!  You are a deranged person who isn’t good enough to gain an acceptable job as a troll.  Your life is visually a mess!  Your handles have acquired an incurable disease.  Therefore, please just stay or move to Ohio, they’ll love you there.  If you cannot afford a toilet I have two or three Coleman’s in my garage right now that you may have.

You people have no grasp on reality.

OSU is now, and has been, ahead of Michigan in virtually every single stat, including illegal tattoos, since WW2.  They have gotten more of the top players almost every year since WW2, which has been proven by the fact that OSU has WAY more award winners (Heisman, Lombardi, Doak Walker etc), almost 50% more B1G titles than Michigan, WAY more national titles.  OSU is a bigger School and bigger state and have been a better program for 85% of the time between the end of WW2 and now.

He’s right in that OSU is killing it in recruiting.  But they always have.  The stupidity is looking at OSU and thinking M should be on that level.  They have never been on OSU level historically, aren’t now, and won’t be in the future.  That’s 3/4 of the awesomeness when Michigan beats those shit stains.

The only difference between 2005-now and 1955-2005 is the bad losing streak.  Getting out-recruited is nothing new.  Getting outplayed is nothing new.  Having less wins and less titles is nothing new.  It hasn’t been anything new for 65+ years.

MAIZEN/dazn5/H1/CharlesHardwayJr?

You're looking more and more like a certain Negative Nancy who went by the handle "Charles Hardway Jr" on the Freep UofM forum until 15 or so years ago when the Freep shut down all  their Worldcrossing-platform forums.

I'm beginning to think that's where you got your start...

What do you think this chart says? Lmao dude, copying and pasting data that contradicts what you are saying is a weird strategy. Your idiot list says Michigan had better recruiting classes for 6 out of the 12 years you randomly picked to not even support your point well.

You're a Buckeye troll, but actually closer to the Shelbyville fans from the Simpsons who troll by saying "Maybe that's why we beat you in football nearly half the time.

What do actual fans think: does having a loud child's melt-down on social media every week help Michigan appeal to recruits more than us pussies who act like adults when we lose?

Bullshit.
Recruiting rankings weren’t even a thing before what .... 2004?

Nice try making shit up.  Also, for arguments sake, let’s pretend you could prove it and you’re right.  M out recruits OSU for, at most, a 15 year stretch in the last 65 or 70 years.  That, in mathematical terms, is an outlier, not the norm.

Recruiting rankings were absolutely a thing. Google Prep Football Report. Google Tom Lemming. Google Max Olsen. Rivals was founded in 2000 once those guys stuff gained traction in the 90's.

Don't be an uneducated fuckwad and try and tell me what did or didn't exist when I've been following UM recruiting and the rankings since the mid 90's. You moron.

Good point.  I get more down with every committment.  Recruiting is not fun anymore, there's no need to look at highlights.   The only reason I come on here is to read the comments about said recruit.  Once again, recruit the STATE OF MICHIGAN Don Brown.  What's the new defensive guys doing?  They need to take Don Brown's phone.
