Was trying to embed Hudl video but can’t figure it out so here’s the link. Side note, there are 2 hudl profiles for him and the one with his name spelled as “Jaden” has his most current info. “Ja’Den” is has videos of him as a sophomore.
5’10 165lb CB out of St Thomas Aquinas in Florida. Former school of Jake Rudock, John O Korn, and Anthony Solomon. Lists a 4.52 40 time on hudl page. Also adds an extra inch and 10lbs to his frame.
Cool to get a corner commit with good offers. Weird that we had never heard of him before today but Michigan had apparently offered back in January
*Ruddddock.
There, fixed it for you.
....also former high school of Dr. Stefan Humphries!
3* from Florida. Now THAT makes sense.
Welcome.
Definitely makes sense considering Zordich hasn't signed a top 100 recruit in 5 years.
Can't wait to see how these 3 star DB's hold up against OSU's 5 star WR's. Going to be Brandon Watson type bad.
Ambry Thomas?
The key is to look at the offer list. The MA 3* kids had no other P5 offers. This kid on the other hand is highly regarded in coaching circles given his offers.
No the key is to look at his ranking because that's what the data tell us is important. Offer lists are meaningless. No way to verify them and often times merely an indicator of preliminary interest. He couldn't commit to Bama, UGA, or OSU right now if he wanted to. Reminds me of JKP in that he was also cousins with a big time recruit and had an impressive "offer list."
Does the 3* kid from Mass not have a good “offer list” because he’s not good, or because he’s from Mass and it’s not an area frequented by the scouts who make the rankings or the schools that put out “big offers”? Bama doesn’t go to Mass to find talent. Because it’s easier for Bama to stay down south and get a kid.
Would Kwity Paye have had a more impressive offer list/ranking if he wasn’t from Rhode Island and was instead from Florida?
You can’t look at ANY one piece of data and draw a conclusion. They’re all PIECES of a puzzle. Rankings by themselves are meaningless, offers by themselves are meaningless, and location by itself is meaningless. If you look at a kid, don’t look at just his ranking. Look at WHY he’s ranked where he is. There’s quite a bit more that goes into it than how good the kid is. The Hello posts are pretty good at covering that. Magnus is pretty good at it too with his break downs.

"Rankings by themselves are meaningless"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
They literally are. Or are you still waiting on Shane Morris and Derrick Green to pan out?
Whining about recruting....join date today...I assume this is Maizen #84
Hell, less than 3 hours ago. Haha...
Bryson, you are a mental patient. Seek help. Or just pull the trigger. Either way, stop making accounts here.
I don’t like trolls either, but telling someone to pull the trigger just isn’t funny. Suicide isn’t a joke
3* recruit with high quality offers...that's what I like to see. 4* pump is on its way! I wonder if this is Jean-Mary croot.
I literally thought this was a fake post because of the spelling of the name.
Nope. Webb is reporting Zordich and Brown were the recruiters on this one, which makes sense because both are minos trying to swim with sharks and can't so they go after the "underrated three stars."
Reality is they are n't underrated they are just 3 stars. Zordich should be counting his lucky stars that Wheatley delivered him LaVert Hill and Ambry Thomas because this guy is a big fat zero on the recruiting trail.
you should write them a strongly worded letter. That otta show'em.
Wowza! Where did YOU come from hunky Elvis? I like your style. Please keep making these EXACT SAME posts because you are a keeper.
"minos" lol
In his defense he never claimed to be intelligent.
"Minnows". "Aren't"
And Berns11 is actually spelled "Giant asshole"
He’s got a great offer list. I’m not worried about 3 stars right now since the spring evaluation time is all screwed up. His offers are outstanding.
Plus, a 3* from Florida would definitely be a 4* in other states
Offers are just preliminary indicators of interest. They mean absolutely nothing this day and age. The better question is could this kid commit to OSU, UGA, or Bama right now? The answer is unequivocally no. Moreover, there's no way for anyone to confirm what offers are real and which aren't. A kid can report an offer on his twitter and because of NCAA rules there is no way for any school or coach to dispute it.
He's a small generic 3 star from a school that has been scouted a ton. Defensive recruiting has gone in the shitter and it's really sad because the offensive staff has their shit together finally.
Lol. I was wondering when this would come up. Normally it’s trolls saying that we can never win head to head battles against the big dogs. Then when we do, it’s that they weren’t commutable offers. What a shitty comment.
Congrata kid. Welcome to Michigan!
You think this was a head to head recruiting win? Holy shit you're an idiot. Schools toss out hundreds of offers a year they mean nothing other than "hey we're interested in you." Bama and OSU have no clue who this kid even is. OSU is filling out their last DB spot with Jaylin Davies or Kamar Wilcoxson but hey whatever helps make you feel better that Harbaugh's defensive recruiting looks worse than rich rod's at the moment.
Berns11: member for 35 minutes and 46 seconds
Looks like you still haven't sought help.
win head to head battles against the big dogs.
C'mon, guys. It's very safe to assume that there are lots of non-committable offers going on here. Does interest from other big programs mean that there's reason to believe he should be better than his low ranking? Yes. Does this mean we beat Bama, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State for a recruit? Almost certainly not. It probably means we gave a committable offer to a player that was getting slow-played by the elite programs. This means we have an edge in keeping him if one of those programs ends up having to try to pick somebody from further down their recruiting board later in the recruiting cycle.
Maizen/Shawn is back
That's pretty cool that you have insider access to recruiting at OSU, Georgia and Alabama. You should post more often.
It's pretty cool every piece of data we have says recruiting rankings matter and are getting more accurate by the year and you idiots are going gaga over a bunch of non commitable "offers". The kid is cousins with Dallas Turner I can pretty much guarantee that's why he got these offers and we all know Harbaugh loves doling out a few scholarships to get a player he really wants.
That's quite the hit rate.

Recruiting rankings get more and more accurate by the year. Truly a credit to all the people like Barton who go to the camps, watch the tape, talk to coaches. They grind. https://t.co/jOa9RejqNY
Maizen is a dick. But he’s almost always correct. How many of these “offers” were committable ? I’m assuming none of the OSU, Bama offers were. But maybe ace or someone else who works here could contact their people and ask about him
Maizen is a dick. But . . .
Right here is where you should have stopped and seriously re-evaluated your life.
Fuck that. Too much of this fanbase is unwilling to accept criticism. The reality of this situation that this almost certainly is NOT a case of Michigan stealing a recruit from the big dogs. Doesn't mean he can't be a good player but if you're thinking that Michigan just stole a recruit of Bama and Ohio State you're out of your mind.
You're probably right. Bama, OSU, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Penn State all probably offered this guy just as a gag. None of them would have dared accept his commitment! What an amazing coincidence!
Now then, how's about you remove your head from your keister and cheer up a bit. We got a good commit.
Bama, UGA, and OSU would not have accepted his commitment. I'm sorry that ruins your worldview of UM recruiting but it's the truth. Regardless of his "offer list" he's still a 3 star and 3 stars aren't beating OSU and winning the big ten idiot.
The point is not that you are wrong. The point is that you have no idea if that is true or not.
Actually, the point is that the only time Shawn ever talks to his neighbors is when he goes around and introduces himself right after he moves in, and he only does that because the State makes him.
Non sequiturs are cool too.
Like his hello post says, he just transferred to St Thomas Aquinas. Get your facts straight if you're gonna make claims.
Is it unequivocally no? And you know this how? You can't find one instance where OSU, Bama or UGA sign 3-star prospects that they like and turn out to be really good players?
More likely this is you looking at his 24/7 ranking and lazily smearing the staff and the kid because it doesn't meet your unrealistic expectation of a recruiting standard.
Welcome Ja'Den, this guy is a jackass every fan base has them.
"unequivocally no"
Glad to know you're omniscient

Hey Cutie!!! I’ve never seen you in any positive threads. You know why don’t you! You’re all alone.
This is a good get. 3* in Florida is a mid 4 in Michigan. Plus he has offers from the best cornerback coaches in the game.
The best CB coach in the game is either Corey Raymond at LSU or Kerry Coombs at OSU. Mike Zordich is not it, in fact he's on one of the worst recruiting runs I can ever remember a Michigan coach being on. The last top 100 recruit he signed was David Long in 2016. It's now 2020.
Also, a 3 star in Florida is a 3 star anywhere else. If anything he plays at a program that gets a lot of attention so he's very likely accurately ranked given the exposure he's gotten, which probably explains his "offer" sheet that everyone is going crazy over.
Glad to see people excited over another rich rod level recruit on defense.
Are you feeling the Bern or not? I can't tell.
You've posted 4 times in this thread about how the sky is falling. Are you seeing a shrink? Because I'm worried about you.
