In regards to the backend fetch failing tomorrow, would it be helpful for the server if we did pre-commitment posts like fomo did with Simmons (sorry EGJ, this is more of a question for LSA or other mods- your post just made me think of it)? I feel like it may help when 20 people try to "break" the news of Gary and other player's commitments. Would that help mitigate some server issues because there wouldn't be as many posts to comment on or delete? Maybe it wouldn't but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

It all depends on how the other OL we have on the roster pan out. If guys like Ulizio and Runyan are looking strong at the inside spots, it might open up more opportunity for Onwenu on the other side of the ball. He's enormous with long arms - he has more upside on D in my opinion. He could be an absolute monster over there.

Easy Pinball...if I'm not mistaken I believe I read somewhere he and the staff would like him to trim down to 335-340 and be a little more mobile...hope that's not too lightweight for your goal line dreams. I'm hoping for a mobile 330# OG for our RBs to run behind in the opposite goal line situation. Either way, the young man is a beast....Go Blue!!

This was one I was real nervous about. He is awesome, and OL is such a need. And potentially losing him to MSU would just make me want to puke. And it would fill me with nervous dread for tomorrow. Now I'm riding a unicorn and am pissing rainbows. I think I'm in too deep.

in more ways than one.  Hopefully he enjoyed the process like he wanted to.  He earned it with excellent play and work.  Good  for him and good for Michigan.  I think he is going to be a great player for us.

Meanwhile, I consider this great news also to be  the first  of many major applications of Sparty troll pesticide in the next 19 hours.  Hopefully the Sparty trolls will find more to do with their lives than chirp made up nonsense about Harbaugh and the Michigan football program here.  But, at the end of the day nobody cares about trolls and we are looking an excellent class, with fingers crossed until all letters are in.

I would love to see Big Mike pass out pancakes on both sides of the ball.  

Can you see him go in on D in the red zone?  I guess is he will play in the 330 to 340 range  and that is a lot to try to move.
