Heisman Ceremony

Aiden looking sharp. Desmond throwing sharp elbows. The Ceremony is at The Lincoln Center! Nice! I haven't been to an opera or ballet there, but I've gone to another event there (non black tie, though). The place is beautiful! Good look for the Heisman!

The trash talk between Hutchinson and Stroud was only awkward because Stroud made it awkward. Easily could've laughed it off, but instead was stoic. Dude is either salty about the loss or just super awkward because dude has been a public mess ever since The Game and has made a fool of himself in front of the mic

It annoys me how much ESPN is hyping Pickett's fake slide. That was one of the most chickenshit things I've ever seen. There's a reason the NCAA moved so fast to put an end to that.

Relax.

You act like he does it all the time or knew this was the time to use the fake slide move he'd been practicing his whole life.

He went to slide, saw an opening and had enough athleticism to get out of it and keep running.

Illegal? Absolutely. But "chickenshit?"

That's bullshit because if JJ McCarthy did that everyone on this board would give him a pass, at worst (half of the board would celebrate it as instinctual - especially in a B1G championship game that we won).

I'm glad the rule is changed, it shouldn't be allowed, but some of you all are taking it personal and that's just weird.

pre-9-11 when i was still playing football we stayed at the downtown athletic club in NY where they had historically held the ceremony.  we had a big welcome dinner in the 'heisman room'.  dark wood panel, tons of history there.   and all the heisman winners were on display except....OJ.  it was a really cool club, the kind that won't ever be replicated again.

and we had some fun in NY, whew.

Has to be pretty awkward for Stroud to see Hutchinson and especially Day to see Harbaugh with all the talk about The Game during this ceremony. It is great!

However he finishes, the order of presentation gave Aidan, Coach Harbaugh and Michigan the last word over OSU.  And "Blue Wall" rep, Chris Fowler, also there to rub some delicious salt in the wound.

Ryan Day will use this moment as fuel for the next 5 years...some recruit is about to get PAID tonight.

On a serious note, we're going to have to be ready, they're going to obsessed over this like nothing ever before.

I first had Utah winning, I've got OSU by double digits. Time to go raise our game!
