As I recall at the time, he was a very early advocate for hiring Bellein, and that was before Bellein even emerged as a candidate. I recall a whole article from him praising Bellein's career and taking a position on what M should do with the hire. He gets props for that, but yeah otherwise he sucks.

I seem to recall SI's initial regional cover stratetgy was to have 4 across the country. I wouldn't be surprised if Dantonio is on half the covers across Michigan.

Saw Harbaugh. Got excited.

Saw his Bo hat. Got excited.

Saw a quote....... Got excited.

Saw the words "By: Michael Rosenberg"

the UM AD still provides this jackass with access to anything. I will not go near this article. There is nothing that he can write that sheds any more light on what we have seen, read, heard about Harbs since his signing. But you can bet there are references to the Wild West under RR and the desolation of Hoke.

I'd like him gone too but it would purely be a vendetta on the part of UM, which is not wise PR. Rosenberg does not hate Michigan. He's a fucking elitist snob who hated Rich Rodriguez. Before last season he wrote an embarrassing puff piece on Hoke. He's a mouthpiece for what MVictors would call the "Lloyd Loyalist" clan.

The byline in the link belongs to Scooby Axson, which is interesting since Rosenberg is supposed to be SI's man in Michigan.

Interesting that the regional cover is available in the Dakotas, eastern Missouri, and all the states with Big Ten schools except Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and one other.

yep, I thought this was a way-too-early football preview. that's pretty big time if he's on the cover even regionally for a regular issue. I wonder who will be on the cover when mine arrives out here this week. I hope his article makes it in the national issue.
