Harbaugh Presser: Reactions?
August 27th, 2015 at 12:51 PM ^
F'ing AWESOME.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:52 PM ^
What is normal?
Jim Harbaugh is not normal.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:54 PM ^
Too funny! I'd never watched one of his pressers til today. Unorthodox delivery and an enthusiasm unknown to mankind! :)
I just wondered whether college teams actually do this...I know we did in high school - but even then coaches mucked around with reality by the time the game rolled around!
And from what I've seen on MGoBlog - depth charts will cause folks to:

Normal is when the dot product of two vectors is zero.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:53 PM ^
It was awesome!
August 27th, 2015 at 12:53 PM ^
But, the thing I liked the most was reference to "Big Persons" rather than the Brandon "Big Boy" deal, always stated with a smug tone by someone who probably never had to fight his way out of anything in his life.

"We enjoyed each other's company in a football fashion."
August 28th, 2015 at 11:49 AM ^
This has to be the quote of the summer! Love it.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:55 PM ^
His response to the MJ question was hilarous.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:55 PM ^
"How eager are you to get out there and play a football game."
That reporter needs to be slapped.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:57 PM ^
some of the questions were way stupid. I could only listen, unfortunately...but I can only imagine his face when those questions were asked!
August 27th, 2015 at 1:17 PM ^
It was extremely difficult not to laugh out loud at work when Harbaugh responded to that dumb question. I loved how he smirked at the beginning of the answer.
August 27th, 2015 at 2:35 PM ^
It almost looked like he was still disappointed he couldn't go out there and play.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:55 PM ^
I love this man..... Love how literal he is
August 27th, 2015 at 12:56 PM ^
They talk about Harbaugh like he's a god... The players have always shown respect for coaches, but the references by these guys are above and beyond that.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:57 PM ^
"Jabrill is a FOOTBALL player." "as advertised"
August 27th, 2015 at 12:58 PM ^
I think he wanted to be sure we didn't get him confused with a soccer player.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:01 PM ^
it means more coming from harbaugh. What I take away from that is he thinks Peppers has a similar craziness/competiveness as he does for football.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:04 PM ^
I should have added the /s, but I think Jim sees JP as the kind of football player HE would have played with under Bo...hard-nosed, tough kid, who gives 100% every day and then gets 0.01% better each and every time!
August 27th, 2015 at 1:10 PM ^
Let's just hope JP remains more digitally healthy than JPP!
August 27th, 2015 at 12:58 PM ^
About 1,000 GIFs can be made from his facial expressions. You have some work to do, Ace.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:58 PM ^
If they are exchanging depth charts why not just release them to the public? Is it so no one asks him questions about it?
August 27th, 2015 at 1:00 PM ^
guessing somehow info will get "leaked" but I also am guessing Harbaugh and company will make sure it's a FLEXIBLE depth chart. He even indicated as such stating that some positions will be in flux up to game time.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:00 PM ^
I don't think he's trying to keep the public in the dark. Utah hasn't sent theirs out yet, so Harbs won't send his out to "keep things fair". Utah sends theirs out on Monday, and so will we... at least it sounded that way.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:15 PM ^
absolutely has to, you know, before it goes to the program printer. OK, I'll buy that. Anything to maintain an edge.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:13 PM ^
You can watch it here: http://www.btn2go.com/game/michigan-press-conference-08272015
You might have to jump backward to see Coach.

It starts at 16:30 in the BTN2Go clip.

receiving corps with the word on Harris. Also, I don't expect Baxter's schemes to deliver us any TDs on blocked FG returns. (Where Mone broke his bone in practice, if you weren't listening.)
August 27th, 2015 at 1:01 PM ^
Sure did sound like he was going to say Jabrill blocked that kick, but thought better of it as he was mentioning his name...
August 27th, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
I think he meant he doesn't want them returned if the ball goes past the LOS (where it can only be returned by the defense, who can also leave it alone and have it blown dead). I seriously doubt they won't allow players to return blocked kicks that stay behind the LOS. That wouldn't make much sense.
August 27th, 2015 at 12:59 PM ^
Amazing, so good. Love the way he answers questions.

Jumpman uni's are going to be AWESOME. Really the biggest takeaway from his presser.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:09 PM ^
Jordan calling him. Pretty Awesome.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:31 PM ^
Wonder if they know each other from their Chicago days. I could see someone like Jordan having a lot of respect for Harbaugh's intensity.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:01 PM ^
That was.... Actually way more informative than I thought it would be.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:17 PM ^
I honestly did not expect to be able to take away as much as I did, and while much of it is still high level and leaves one to do a lot of inferring, there was some actual information in this one (more than I was expecting).
Of course, all of it makes me that much more eager to see how this plays out on Thursday as we start this first season under Harbaugh.
August 27th, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
I love him. That is all.

Something to that nature
