Harbaugh's Weekend in Cali

Submitted by BlueKoolaid on

I know the tweets were shared re: Harbaugh announcing HC Queen and working the down marker on the chain gang but the Mercury News did an article with a bit more video coverage, plus.. HARBAUGH.

Thought it was worth sharing.

Pretty smart if you are scouting an O Lineman to be right on the line of scrimmage while watching the game.

In Harbaugh's mind when he gets asked to be on the chain gang he is thinking this will be fun and I have the best seat in the house. He is a unique dude in a good way and unlike so many other stuffed suit coaches that can't relate to the kids.

not only a great coach and ambassador for the University of Michigan, he is a recruiting artist, and all around elite, one of a kind jackhammer that works 7 days a week to make Michigan football better every day.

We are truly blessed to have him back in Ann Arbor.  Go Blue !

I knew by his track record he would instantly turn this team around.

But his innovative coaching, marketing, and recruiting genius has far exceeded ..........even my expectations.

Squeese as much practice time as possible..........4 hour practices with staggered attendance.

Lose a co-ordinator ........... Replace him with a better one!

Lose a D-lineman................Replace him with the No. 1 recruit in the nation!

I can't wait for what's next! The sky is the limit!

I always woundered why UM could not discover a coach to epitimize the university's "leaders and best" mantra. They finally found their man .................and its Jim Harbaugh!

Think about this- two years ago, we were all very optimistic that we land Dan Mullen. We had just gone 5-7, and our rivals were on top of the world. Now we're the number three team in the country, twelve days away from an assblasting of Sparty, and on our way to a most likely undefeated matchup in The Game. We just landed the number one recruit and it looks like we could do it for the second year in a row. Who's got it better than us?

When I saw the Shane Morris concussion and heard the rumors that San Francisco was tired of winning, I turned to my wife and said...

'Hoke is toast this year'

'Jim Harbaugh will be our next coach'

She gave me that 'what do I care look?'.  She's Welsh and only rugby counts there.

Later when U of M finally hired Jim Harbaugh, my wife remembered and said, 'you called it'.

The real beauty of this is that I honestly believe that there's very few things in the world he would rather be doing on a Friday night. The man just flat out LOVES the great game of football

digger. Once I was a valet in Atlanta for a huge event. Every valet turns in their tips at the end of th event. I turn in $80, everyone else in the twenty man crew turns  in $35-$40, I'm an honest sucker, what can I say. A little less enthusiasm unknown to mankind and less honesty and I would have gone home with an extra $40 in my pocket.
