Ha! There are about 20M Canadian workers, so 8M taking off for Black Friday is pretty funny. They should just declare a national holiday. Of course, many Americans also have to work on Friday too.

Watch "Strange Brew" if it is still on Netflix or whatever. It's fun. I listened to their record over and over when I was a kid.

Canadians don't even work

Hosting 8 ex-pat Yanks + a few amazed locals for a real American Thanksgiving at my condo today. Most of my Canadian buddies don't quite get the reasoning behind why we do it with so much "excess" compared to their Thanksgiving - but guaranteed they like it!

I'm thankful that my gracious Canadian boss let me work 12 hours today rather than doing that silly enjoy family thing. Amazing that they recognized the holiday enough to black out vacation time though.

It would be so much easier if the Memorial Day weekend and Thanksgiving were on the same days in Canada so we could benefit from the best of both worlds.

To all of my fellow Canadians and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you south of the border. I took tomorrow off, so I to will be enjoying all of the football as well.
