That seems about right.  Bad weather, a game before The Game, and I recall earlier this year there was a thing about Nebraska disease in which Nebraska's opponent the following week not only played poorly but outright lost. I don't see us outright losing but not covering seems about right in this situation.

24-10: Some respect for the IL defense plus wind gusts to 30 mph during the game and temps 25-30. Harbaugh will keep it mostly on the ground and not show Ohio State much.

Corum will get 100-130 yds and Edwards not far behind. JJ throws for no more than 150 yds. One FG from Moody.

Hopefully the game will end by 3:30  even with all of the media timeouts.

I think Illinois defense is great in the same way Penn State had the #5 run defense. They might be pretty good, but they will not be good enough

Same formula, different week.

Start a little slower, particularly against a good defense that knows its back is against the wall if it wants to make it to Indy, but the proverbial floodgates come open a bit in the second half when Illinois's defense just can't get off the field.

I'm going to say 17-7 Michigan at the half, and then 34-13 to end the day. Michigan will give up its one drive a game that allots for some big plays by Illinois, but otherwise they hold the opposition largely in check. I think Harbaugh is going to save everything he possibly can for next week, so if its an extremely vanilla gameplan where JJ only throws 15-20 times for 150-200 yards, we shouldn't be shocked. With not so great weather in tow, I can't imagine Harbaugh is going to want to take too many chances with airing it out. Stick to what got you here, play it safe with the best RB in the country at your disposal, and don't give OSU a lick of anything to work with.

Corum, 22 carries for 165 and two scores. Edwards will play, but my guess is he'll be on a snap count to make sure he's ready to go next weekend, so his stats will be limited, methinks. Which means that I do think we'll see a lot more of Stokes in the second half tomorrow. He will start showing that he can be a great understudy with Edwards next Fall.

20-13 UM. It’s cold and windy. I have a hard time believing JH will have many 20+yd throws dialed up. Also, think there will be some missed field goals, maybe two for us and 1 for them. All coming from 35+ away. Will make the game look close.
