Noon: Hawaii and UC
3:30: Colorado and Illinois (homecoming)
8: Iowa and Rutgers (may be at 7), both are away games
It's CU, not UC ...just as the CU Student paper kept referring to MICHIGAN as MU in 1996 ahead of the game in Boulder..
Love it - a full 8hours to tailgate on the golf course before the game!
Bambi was referring to UCF -- not Colorado.
my apologies, didn't mean to come off wrong. It is true that the CU student paper referred to MICHIGAN as MU in '96. I guess that the student writer assumed that like The University of Colorado is referred to as "CU," that The University of Michigan would be ...MU.
MU will beat UC by a good four touchdowns I predict and will be there for the game ...on the Golf Course for a good 8 hours tailgating!! WooHoo!!
AAGO just in from the corner of State & Main ..depending on arrival time, of course.
When is Wisconsin?
We know it won't be at night. I hope to hell it's not noon so I can do some pre-game activities beyond "breakfast".
The only way it could possibly not be at 3:30 is if Wisconsin is slaughtered by both LSU and MSU before they reach Ann Arbor.
As for Penn State, same deal with Pittsburgh and Temple, except margins may not matter (if they lose both, noon, otherwise very likely 3:30).

Sure you can. I do it all the time upon seeing a noon game. Complaining about that is quite easy, actually.

Please explain how it sucks for me.

LOL, that is not an explanation.
I don't like noon games.
If Nike came out and said Michigan HAD to play all it's games at noon, you would think it was the greatest thing ever.

About time we had this discussiion (today)
Nailed it, Greyhound.
I understand that argument, but like the early appetizers (noon games) and then get the main feast at either 3:30 or later. I love it when Michigan wins a 3:30 game because then it's time to watch and enjoy the night games with several brews on hand.
Or adidas versus Nike.
HINT: Both apparel makers gave us the piping on the away unis and both were approved by the school.
Which one put a cumberbund on the basketball team?
The athletic director did!
Then who put the Herring in AC's cumberbund? The AD was in the press box at the time...
If you like to party I think you like 3:30 starts. If you are a little older and not so much into the drinking thing then I think you prefer the noon start.
I think I jumped over to liking noon starts more last season.
I tend to like 3:30 PM as well for a few reasons:
1) Not even Michigan football can make me a natural morning person.
2) Kids and family make the logistics of noon somewhat trickier.
3) I like "sit and think" time before games so I can mentally prepare.
I can do noon games just fine, but I always feel like I lose more of the day that way, and also it is rather hard to find tailgates with sufficient coffee sometimes. Maybe I am just in the wrong place though.
i like to be able to run errands before games on Saturdays. Bank, Dry Cleaning, getting steaks for said football game, all is possible with 3:30, and not for 12
Exactly it. If you are tailgating, 3:30 gives you enought time to have a little fun, drink a little beer then go to the game.
If you are driving into town for the game or aren't tailgating, 12:00 is the way to go. A 3:30 start makes for a pretty late night.
but it's not so much the drinking as it is having 3 kids.
Usually it's just my wife & I attending games and the kids all have sports at various times on Saturday. Noon games allows us to take off very early for AA, do some tailgate/brunch see the game & maybe have a drink before getting back home to the kids (and $ babysitter)
3:30 games eat up the entire day (still have to get there early to beat traffic, park, tailgate, etc.) by the time we make it back the day is gone.
Now if I'm just going with some friends, 3:30 is a-ok.
Or for those of us in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones, it's much better. Arguably even for those in the Central Time Zone.
Also, better for all current students and, most importantly, the general atmosphere/noise level in the Big House (biggest reason I prefer it).
This will be my first season watching games without alcohol, so I'm not sure which start time will be best.
I suppose it depends on what drugs I'll be taking that day.
I literally couldn't get through a football season without it
I've been doing a diet / exercise thing lately. I'm down about 25 lbs so far and I want to lose about 25 more, so I cut out sugar and pretty much all unnecessary calories.

or he can cut unnecessary calories, too

maybe he likes bread. i love bread and will never stop eating it. there are other ways to lose weight or eliminate fat.
It's basically liquid bread. But vodka and some liquors have no carbs.
