FYI when your Big Ten game gets bumped to ESPN 2
For those of you that live outside of Michigan, and your regional ABC Big Ten Game gets bumped to ESPN 2. One of the drawbacks of that game moving is you lose the High Definition broadcast.
It happened to me last year when PSU played Michigan. I thought it was a mistake, but it also happened this weekend for the PSU - OSU game. It seems they can move the regular feed to ESPN 2 but not the HD feed.
Just an FYI...

Because ESPN 2 clearly can broadcast in HD. I watched the UM-Miami game that way. Of course, we weren't bumped, but were scheduled there all along so maybe that's the difference.

I live in NC and the Utah game was bumped to the deuce. It was in HD on my HD tier.

and the same was true for me. The Utah game was on ESPN2 in HD.

The USC-UVA game was not on ESPN2 HD although, of course, I was mostly paying attention to the Michigan-Utah game. I honestly didn't even bother checking the regular feed.

ESPN and ABC are constantly doing weird crap with their HD feeds. This past week, in my area they cut away from the Oregon State/PEnn State game for "bonus" coverage of the other two ABC games, and the "bonus" coverage wasn't in HD, even though those games were in HD elsewhere.

I got the 3:30 Cinn - OK game and it was in HD on ABC. On ESPN 2 HD, I got the ESPN News Feed. The PSU - OSU game was on the regular feed ESPN 2.
