The money spent on the trip to Florida for the outback bowl... The money spent on the GLI... The money I lost on basketball team... Fuck everything. Hell even lost money when betting against Michigan... Just not working out for me. Here's to 2014... Hopefully it's a good one!!

Found 60 bucks on ground..was like awesome..then have had nothing but money issues the last two months..christmas had to rack up credit card on wife and kids. Just ready for some better luck..fuck 2013 go blue

Despite the clusterfuck for us as Michigan fans the year was, I just found out I am getting a third bonus for the year (got one after T-giving, and then another before Xmas).  Friggin' crazy, but we (my four colleagues and I) busted our asses this year, and to the victors go the spoils.

at the same time it's good to be thankful for what you (we) do have.  Life frequently sends us some painful dong punches.  But the important thing is keep getting up and looking forward positively.  In that vein, I'm hoping that 2013 ends for Michigan on a positive note tonight in the BWW Bowl.  Go Blue and everyone have a great New Year!

as well but this years batch seemed thinner to me. Started the afternoon with z Goose Island harvest ale. Having a couple Sixpoint Bengali Tiger for the first half and hoping to celebrate with a bomber of stout from a local Madison brew. Cheer on the boys, folks. They are doing the hard work.

Excited to see Morris start tonight, but also preparing myself for the worst with drinking some great beers. Started with Funkwerks Tropic King Peach Whiskey Barrel Aged, and have now moved on to Lagunitas Sucks. Go Blue!

Despite what I said in a drinking thread last week, DIPAs and BA Stouts do get a majority of the attention by BeerAdvocate. However, for every 50 threads on BCBS, KBS, Pliny, etc. there's a really cool thread about underrated beers (by BeerAdvocate standards) like Odell IPA, Bell's Expedition Stout, Deschutes Black Butte Porter, etc. I love IPAs and huge Stouts, but I equally love Belgian styles, Porters, German style ales, sours, and a nice lager on a hot day.
