Fresh snow and EKU Pils
Im sitting in an Airbnb townhouse right off 4 O'clock run to town in Breckenridge enjoying a pear flavored grey goose on the rocks. We had fantastic spring weather all week (mid 50's & sunny) and today we got 3+ inches of fresh powder for our last day skiing.
Heading back to the Aruba of the midwest Cleveland tomorrow.

Perhaps your destination is more like the “lint collecting belly button” of the Midwest?

Oberon dated 3-19 and Short's Local Light
We're just a Big Ten School

Great, even Oberon made 2 more threes than us.

Had friends at Western. Oberon Day shut the whole school down for 24 hours
We are a drinking school with a football problem. Flying Dog.....The Truth.
reminding me of one of my all time favorite bumper stickers, gotten in a small town at the end of the world (figuratively, and not too far from literally) in alaska:
a small drinking village
with a fishing problem
Yeah, classic slogan. It can be used almost anywhere.
i actually wrote the first chapter of a murder-mystery that was based on something we saw and assisted with on that trip. titled it 'sunset over seldovia' but never finished it. we also caught so much halibut it was unpossible.

Mr umbig11; Is Flying Dog available in the Midwest?
Have you tried their Raging Bitch?
Thanks!!
March 29th, 2019 at 10:25 PM ^
I tried the Raging Bitch. Then I went ahead and married her. I tell ya, I don't get no respect, no respect at all...
Thank you. I'll be here all week; try the buffet.

I have tried all of the Flying Dog brews. The only state in the midwest that I saw was Illinois.

Thank you sir. I will have to check out availability here in Michigan. A Belgian IPA sounds good ?.
Watching the Pacers battle for the number four playoff spot in the east. It’s Miller time down here in my basement, first Miller Lite in years.
Could you taste the corn syrup (regular, not high-fructose)? I’ve heard somewhere recently that is a concern.
Guinness over here. I am honestly not sure sometimes which sport to hang our hat on.
Of course, MSU passing LSU and moving to the Elite Eight has me feeling...slightly irritated.
We do not need to apologize for the fact that we excel at nearly every sport. That is what is great about Michigan, we can hang our hat on all of them. And we do it the right way too...
National championships have been hard to come by but we always seem to be knocking on the door. Hopefully soon someone will answer.

Indeed, but they are hard for everybody. There are well over 300 Division I basketball teams. There are 128 Division 1 football teams.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
The "basketball school or football school" question reminds of the scene in "A League of their Own," when Dottie is driven to the road house by the 12-year-old kid, who then proposes that they slip in the back seat and "you make a man out of me." When she offers to smack him around instead, he replies:
"Can't we do both?"
Seems like the perfect answer for both him and us.
Corona...it’s going to be in the mid 80’s in AZ tomorrow.
It appears Michigan is a baseball school.
nice red pop, nothing too fancy as per usual.
chicken on the grill.
monitoring some hoops scores
road trip tomorrow with the family - vacation gig.
I don’t think there is a drop of alcohol in the house so some freshly spritzed water. Women’s lacrosse is undefeated... after five years of some pretty awful games, this is a big surprise.
Tito’s ( already had Norm’s RAIPA). Holy moly, Auburn! How long until football?
Love the Raggedy Ass!
Clorox Bleach and Tide Pods.
GENERATION Z WHERE YA AT YEEEEEEET
Went from 40th to 13th in the MGoBlog bracket with the Auburn win. Not humble bragging, just regular bragging.
Va Tech looking good early vs. Duke.

Another fiscal year in the books. Had a few Summit Extra Pale Ales and now googling DIY backyard coyote prevention strategies.

We haven't won much in football in a long time. Maybe soon?

Is there a luckier team than Duke?
March 30th, 2019 at 12:19 AM ^
MSU might actually beat them.
