Have scored 3 runs in each of the last three innings, yet had nothing to show in the first. Unacceptable performance - why does the AD keep paying this guy?

Agreed. And it started with a poster who seriously DID think Bakich should be fired for a losing streak at end of that season. We took that as our rallying cry as Bakich led the team to the championship game.

Welcome to Michigan, buddy. We are the premiere destination for living in the past. Also I think it’s done for the sake of irony because so many of us schmucks wanted Bakich out this time two years ago and then he turned it all around and led this program to within one win of winning it all.
The Michigan fanbase deserves to be made fun of. So we might as well make fun of ourselves first.

Have to win tomorrow to stay in the race for the Big Ten title. OSU could have helped Michigan today but they crapped the bed. Had a 9-7 lead on Nebraska in the 9th and fuckin lost. At this point Michigan would have to win tomorrow and sweep Nebraska next weekend and to win at least a share of the title and I don’t see that happening.
It won't happen if Scott Frost's mom has anything to do with it.
tOSU is the only “school” that would lose on purpose to screw Michigan regardless of how badly it would hurt them.

The good news is Michigan is in the NCAA’s regardless.
How sure are you of that? Given what we saw with the Big Ten in softball after playing an all-conference regular season without even a conference tournament? Not to mention we're currently 93th in RPI...
In Baseball America’s Projected Bracket on May 19, Michigan (RPI 93 - 2 seed), Nebraska (RPI 56 - 2 seed), Indiana (RPI 102 - 2 seed) and Iowa (RPI 73 - 3 seed) were projected to make the tournament, but with Maryland (RPI 79) currently on a 12-2 run and two games up on Iowa in 4th place in the conference, I’d expect Maryland to be in line to get a bid instead of Iowa.
If RPI were the deciding factor for Big Ten teams to make the tournament, then Michigan might need to do no worse than split its final four games to have any chance of being selected for the tournament.
Michigan currently is 7-4 in games against Indiana, Iowa and Maryland (3-1 at a neutral site vs. Iowa; 3-2 at home with Indiana and Maryland; 1-1 away with Maryland).
On a totally different note, I just saw on the news that former MSU basketball player, Keith Appling, is wanted as a suspect in a fatal shooting. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Appling has been arrested several times for gun-related offenses. It sounds like this time he got into a fight with some older guy (66 yo) and ended up shooting him.
Pretty messed up.
