Ex-Oregon QB Jake Rodrigues transferring to SDSU
I don't think the kid wanted to leave the west coast anyway. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/24572860/report-ex-oregon-qb-jake-rodrigues-transferring-to-sdsu
I think it was reported that Michigan was not offering him...am i wrong ?
You are not wrong. In fact, you are right.
or to create a buzz.
2015 quarterback recruiting for #Michigan has concluded. Wolverines are NOT pursuing Oregon transfer Jake Rodrigues

I'm glad we didn't offer. It would have been a bad sign regarding Shane Morris' progression.
If so, I could make the same argument for Speight or Bellomy. You need more than 1 QB is my point. Shane Morris could be the second coming of Aaron Rodgers and you still need a backup and some depth.
IMO it speaks to more of Rodrigeus just flat out not being worth a scholarship at this time from the University of Michigan.
This is good news we didn't need a QB controversy as we have enough guys lined up for action. Good luck to him in SDSU, hopefully he finds what he's looking for.
You piqued my interest, so I looked to see what I could find about him, but I have to say, I don't see him coming to Michigan. Here's an article from January about some of his problems at Florida, including a suspension, subsequent loss of his scholarship before he was granted his scholarship but not allowed to play with the team or sit on the bench during games. It just sounds like he has too many off court issues to take a chance on.
I'm sure it was all someone elses fault. /s
Mentioning Harris in the same sentence as Jordan Morgan—the epitome of a student-athlete doing it the right way—is laughable. There is nothing in John Beilein's tenure at Michigan to give even the tiniest reason to think that Harris would get even one second of consideration.
