If somebody relies on the idiot box and what passes for newspapers these days for their news and information, it's the functional equivalent of living under a rock.
December 28th, 2014 at 9:43 PM ^
I believe that would be a self-inflicted rock living arrangement.

Exactly, that is why I turned so many of my friends in the direction of MGOBLOG. I was sick of having conversations about Michigan football with them and them being so out of the loop, but it is really pathetic how so many people really have no clue what is going on because ESPN chooses to report what they want.

Wait didn't Duke's coach turn us down? Plus sources say Mrs.Harbaugh really likes the Bay Area.

They're just riding this story as long as they can. It's how they keep people paying attention even though it's all bullshit.

Is Adam Schefter still reporting that Harbaugh is an NFL Guy!
December 28th, 2014 at 9:51 PM ^
Michigan officials believe they will be taking Jim Harbaugh and his wife to Ann Arbor on Monday.

The fuck does this even mean?
"Michigan officials will coax Harbaugh unwittingly onto a plane. An obscure clause in Harbaugh's contract says that if they succeed, he will agree to be Michigan's coach."
December 28th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
Now he's just mocking himself.

John or Jim?
December 28th, 2014 at 9:02 PM ^
I don't remember, but was there a similar lack of coverage/knowledge when Saban went to Alabama?
December 28th, 2014 at 9:08 PM ^
Miami had to give Alabama permission to talk to Saban and by the time that was announced, everyone knew it was done.

that Lebron James is considering returning to Cleveland. Stay tuned for more up-to-the second details on that developing story.

At least Rapoport is relenting. Kinda.
Nothing is signed, but the almost certain destination for Jim Harbaugh is Michigan, per source close to him. For more than $8M per year.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 29, 2014
The #Raiders had just wanted a chance to talk with Jim Harbaugh. He is now free to do so. But will they? The U-M plane is waiting.

When it comes to having an agenda against a certain team.
They've been for a lot of teams (or players or conferences), but I always hated when the Buckeyes would claim ESPN hated them, then the Irish, then the Big XII, etc.
It was just stupid.
I'm starting to see the dark side, this is ridiculous. It's like they just don't want to acknowledge it or something.
Whatever ESPN, newsflash...IT'S HAPPENED.

I was extremely frustrated listening to that Colin Cowbleep on ESPN radio, and his condescending description of U of M. Makes me wish I could reach through the radio waves and internet and give him a good tunk of the schnoz

I really don't get what's holding them up. Every other major media outlet is reporting it in some form; ESPN is the lone holdout. The idea that Harbaugh could end up at another team at this point strains credulity.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Woldwide Leader in Sports.
