ESPN: "Harbaugh has been linked to several openings, including at Michigan."

Submitted by 1989 UM GRAD on

You don't say...I hadn't heard that he'd been linked to an opening at Michigan.

How can ESPN expect anyone to take them seriously when that's how they open up the reporting about Harbaugh parting ways with S.F?

Unfortunately the majority of my friends/Facebook friends never read mgoblog. It's hard to imagine, but so many people are just now hearing reports like this because major sites like ESPN are reporting it. It seems like a joke to us (because we know how far behind these clowns are) but the average person just doesn't really know as much. Mgoblog uber alles

Exactly, that is why I turned so many of my friends in the direction of MGOBLOG. I was sick of having conversations about Michigan football with them and them being so out of the loop, but it is really pathetic how so many people really have no clue what is going on because ESPN chooses to report what they want.

Michigan bias aside, this is not a small sports story. You have a highly successful NFL coach, returning to the winningest program in CFB.

I don't remember, but was there a similar lack of coverage/knowledge when Saban went to Alabama?

How is this even possible when the rest of the world already knows that it's over and done? Cue the eternally optimistic Iraqi Defense Minister. Good grief.

At least Rapoport is relenting. Kinda.

When it comes to having an agenda against a certain team.

They've been for a lot of teams (or players or conferences), but I always hated when the Buckeyes would claim ESPN hated them, then the Irish, then the Big XII, etc.

It was just stupid.

I'm starting to see the dark side, this is ridiculous. It's like they just don't want to acknowledge it or something.

Whatever ESPN, newsflash...IT'S HAPPENED.

I really don't get what's holding them up. Every other major media outlet is reporting it in some form; ESPN is the lone holdout. The idea that Harbaugh could end up at another team at this point strains credulity.
